wasn't that spectacular

Nah, he does a lot of things well, but the "outstanding" moves we got used to seeing are fewer and farther between.
I think you're failing to see that he's really maturing as a player now. He's becoming better and better at emposing himself and putting his mark on games. His positioning has improved immensely, imo, as we now see him taking more charge both in the centre of the field and on the flanks. Yes, the spectacular goals are missing so far, but they will come. To me, in the beginning, he was a player that could show flashes of brilliance and then disappear completely, but now I find myself more and more voting for him to be the man of the match. The times this season when I haven't, he's always been very close. I dunno, I just feel he's becoming more complete these days, and we shouldn't hold it against him that the wondergoals aren't flying in for the time being.

As for outstanding moves, he has at least one or two of those in every game. You'll always see a technical finesse from Pogba in the space of 90 minutes.

You don't see the minds of goals or shot confidence anymore.

I agree with the standard of consistency in what midfielders are supposed to do he is doing quite well.

The wow factor has subsided it feels

I think 'quite well' is definitely an understatement. He's bossing both for Juventus and his country now, and I'm getting more and more impressed with his overall contribution to the team play. He's added another defensive component to his game that I'm very happy about, and I agree with Red that all he needs to do is figure out how to get the balance right. The (beautiful) goals will come, I'd be willing to bet my left paw on that.
