This is a fair question but also a legit one, with regards to his development. It can really go either way. Juve and PsG are built very differently, from the ground up. Juve are built more like a team and play as a unit while PsG are fragmented pieces of prima donna playing together. Pogba at PeG will have a lot more competition, especially with people that are of a similar age. He will also be in an environment which won't focus as much on him comparatively, and most importantly, things will be a lot more political in the dressing room.

All of those things combined don't necessarily give you enough room to express your best football. My personal feeling is, Pogba will get a lot more attention in France, in a manner that can distract him and since he's an impressionable age, it could also make him a big of a modern day football arrogant prick of a player. For eg. I see Cavani struggling more because the forward line is not built around him like it was at Napoli. He's still a hell of a player though. Pogba will face some of these problems, either individually, or collectively, and that can have some bearing on his ability as a top rung footballer. Needless to say though, if he asks to leave, I won't wish him well at all.
Political? I think you're exaggerating and you're also underestimating PSG. They were a couple of mins away from knocking out Chelsea and reaching semies while they have stomped Ligue 1. It's harder for them to adept at this point because they bring many new players every season, which makes a big impact when it comes to team play. But they are building a competitive team that looks pretty scary and they have pretty big ambitions. That environment is pretty healthy IMO, even if does fight for a spot, he'd surely grow there as a player. Not to mention the quality that PSG already has with Marquinhos, Silva, Cavani, Ibra, Verratti and others. Neither of those did a bad thing when they moved to France, not to mention that they are much stronger now.

It's Cavani's first year in France, he is still adopting to their team. But you can't even say he's not doing well, he has 15 goals in league and 4 in the CL (on 8 matches).

Ditto what Dule90 just said

PSG for the last two years were inches from knocking out Barcelona and Chelsea, it really is only a matter of time before they end up winning the CL.

Furthermore, Real Madrid are the prime example of having too many players for their own good, yet everyone seems to join them anyway. Yes to me it's stupid, but players always think with the amount of wages they get, and put winning the CL as their top priorty these days. It's only after a two seasons or so when they realise they're not being played, does logic sink in, and they decide to leave

He has the most minutes played in our squad when you look at midfield, even more than Vidal. Only Buffon has more minutes than him from the whole squad. I have no idea how you can say bench when he was our key asset this season.
Easy there @Dule90 thats not what i mean.

When all players are fit, marchisio isnt first choise. Thats why i say bench player.

However, over the cource of the season, each and every time one of the 3 starter cm's goes out, marchisio comes in and you barely notice a drop in quality.
If we wouldnt have such high class player for such vital position, each and every time one of VPP is suspended/injured, there would be a huge drop in quality, and over the course of a season, this would make a big deal.

Nah, there's no way Marchisio has the most minutes in the squad, bar Buffon.
Read his post again. he said that because i called bench player.

Wich i did cause someone said we should sell cheesio

Sorry mate, I guess it was a misunderstanding. RUS was talking about a good WC performances and selling for 40-50mln, then you said the bench thing. I was talking about Pogba surely. Marchisio is worth half of the sum mentioned.
Ah, i see.

So why would i call pogba a benchplayer

I couldn't care less whether Pogba stays or goes to be fair. Either way it's a win win for me. Just hope the money used is spent properly. And not pussy footing about with cheap alternatives.

Well, his price is peaking anyway. Take that 70m and do like we did with Zidane or Inter did with Ibra when they reinvested it.
I always wondered about this sum. Ivery much doubt anyoine is offering that much for Pogba. Vidal was going for 35m after last season and he was amazing through the whole season.

My guess is 40m is more like what we could get.

Maybe but on the field he displayed total uninterest since after the winter break.

same can be said about Vidal. Would not suprsie me if it was Vidal that leaves for Madrid/Barca

Pogba is now a well oiled part of the team , there is no guarantee that his replacement for which we will anyway have to pay lot of money for will be equally good. I feel we should sell only if he wants to go and not do the same mistake that milan did with zlatan and silva by forcefully selling them for financial reasons.

Pogba is 21, teams pay for skills, performances, hype and potential when it comes to him. But a lot of those 70m are because of the potential and what he will become in the future. Performance wise Pogba is nowhere near worth all of that money and if he left this summer it wouldn't catastrophic loss for us. If Pogba was 25 and had exactly the same season as he had today he'd not cost more than 40m. Vidal for example is better than Pogba and has had a better season but he's also 26 and for that reason won't cost more than 50m tops.

This is the main reason why I believe Pogba's price will peak this summer. As he gets older he'll have to actually perform big to live up to that 70m price tag.

Bingo.

We need to e aware that Pogba is a little overhyped, and theres always the possibility that what we are seeing right now, is maybe 90% of the finished product. But of course thats my guess. He could also very well explode and turn better than zidane... but you get the point.

His price will peak this summer or the next one.... after that, he will have to carry teams Messi/Cronaldo style, to maintain his hype.. and we all know thats almost impossible given that those 2 i mentioned are one of a kind players.

Im pretty sure he will stay this season , because Marotta and co. do NOT want to sell. I think they will give it another try in the CL, doing proper adjustments and hope for the best. Whatever the outcome, i think his departing time will come next season.. not this one.
