It's not even summer to discuss possible transfer of Pogba, just enjoy his perfomance, :beppe: will care about his contract and transfer bid's
I agree, we just have to stay positive about all of this. We are privileged to enjoy having such a player in our team, and we have been for some time. Beppe will get him a new contract, and Pogba looks eager to commit. Also, it's highly unusual for a player to leave immediately after the season during which he signs a new contract. So I'm sure we'll have him at the very least for 1 more season after this one. And no matter what happens, Juventus will have benefited from the shrewd signing Beppe did when he brought this fantastic player to the club. Both in terms of awesome performances (those already seen and those yet to come), and if the day arrives when we do have to sell him, I'm sure we'll get a very high fee for his services. Pogba/Juve is a success-story for the club, no matter how you choose to look at it. If he stays, we'll get to see more of this awesome player in our shirt, if he gets sold, we'll make a mega profit.

Obviously, we all want him to stay, and so do I, but if he gets sold we will stand to witness one of the largest financial profits in mercato history. The boy that cost nothing, and who will leave for anywhere between 50 to 80 million euros.

If we sell for less than 50 million euros, though, I will not be content. This is the true gem of all young players in football today, and everyone knows that. A football god in the making. 60+ is warranted.

If Bale went for 100 mil then so should pogba. We should make this crystal clear to him and that disgustingly obese fat fuck Raiola

It's an argument, but one of the reasons why Bale cost that much was that he signed a deal with Tottenham in 2012 taking his wages to £75,000 per week. Therefore, part of the reason why he had to be so expensive, was the fact that Real Madrid had to buy him out from a very expensive contract. For this reason, coupled with the fact that we cannot offer him the same lucrative contract the EPL-outfit offered Bale, we must expect the Pogba transfer-fee to be lower. But it should still be pretty damn high, because in terms of skills and attributes - I fully agree- he shouldn't be regarded as a lesser player than Bale.

Look Pogba is getting plenty of playing time. He has is the second player with the most minutes in juve. Everyone at Juve can see that Pogba is continuing to improve and it is scary how much he has improved since last season. This guy is beast. I'm sorry Marchisio but Pogba deserves to play. I love how Pogba runs forward and acts almost as a cf like how Marchisio was in 2010/2011

why even bother discussing a transfer?

I am so tired of having to hear about what if scenarios everytime pogba or vidal have a good game.

how about we worry about them leaving when you an actual transfer (not rumors) start to materialize? is that too much to ask? or has the suns panic mode virus spread across the forum??

Exactly why I made my post. People should calm down about it, and realize that both him staying is a win-situation for Juve, and him getting sold on for a mega transfer fee is also a win-situation for Juve.

In the meantime, let's all just enjoy this fantastic player while he's playing for us.

I'm disappointed that come to this thread and read all this shit about Pogba leaving. We aren't Tottenham FFS, we are a final destination for any Player. this club has the prestige and strength to hold on to any of want. All this transfer talk is depressing. Since when have we become Parma?

You are mentioning some factors here which makes holding onto Pogba a possibility. We are truly a prestigous club. No one is saying we have "become Parma". So there is the possibility of him staying here, of course there is. But is it likely? The thing is, it won't really be long until Pogba can demand wages in the 8-10 million bracket. It won't happen right away, but I don't see it taking many years. Sure, he could stay in Italy due to the prestige of Juve and how much he loves the club, I'm not ruling that out. But the point is: he'd have to truly cherish those factors and give them substantial weight, because financially it would mean he'd have to 'settle'.

I didn't really wanna go further down the road of this topic, but I just had to reply to this as you seem to have completely missed the point and do not even put any weight to the current financial state of Serie-A and how far we're lacking behind the true financial powerhouses of world football.

What you say is true, but there are three things that contrast this; our finances compared to 4-5 others, the fact he isn't Italian, and the fact he joined us so early in his career.

In the modern game those things mean he is almost certainly going to leave us at some point, but I'd like to think that would be 25 earliest rather than in a couple of seasons. All depends on how we do and if someone really wants to offer insane money, because we certainly won't turn down a 'Bale' offer.

Not to mention Agnelli is cool with selling him at the right price. :scared:
Pogba can accomplish soooooo much here, give us 2 CL's and you can leave for 150 mil.

right, now based on current form and market price he would be worth about 30m

if he truly can reach the heights of his potential I don't see why Juve won't offer him wages to match his talent. especially with pirlo and buffon unlikelky to stay long I can see Juve having wiggle room to offer him 5-6m a year in a couple of seasons.

I'm not ruling it out. Of course Pogba might leave if we get an incredible offer for him. That's normal and we don't have the financial muscle of most of Europe's top clubs, but the idea is that we're getting there. Three seasons ago we were 7th, and now we are back to back champions with a very competitive squad even in Europe. We have our own great stadium and everyone is beginning to take notice. This Juve can enter into a golden era. That calls for plenty of optimism. So yes, Pogba might leave in the next few years, but is that what we are going to be talking about from now till then? Can't we just enjoy the idea that he's our player and will become a legend here? Even of this is a small possibility, it's certainly one that we should believe in. Look at how many years RVP spent at Arsenal or even Suarez at Liverpool, these aren't English players but they stuck to their Club against all Odds. I exoect the same for Pogba. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but at least, until he leaves, I enjoyed his stay at the club.

I think when and IF Pogba decides to leave, it will be do him wanting a new challenge as opposed to an insane financial offer.

not to say money isn't important, but chances are Pogba will be Juve's highest earner in a few years anyway

Apart from his obvious outstanding technique, the way he uses his frame to win and retain possession is marvellous.

With his long legs, he wins those loose balls that he has no right to be getting. And sometimes he looks like he over dribbles and pushes the ball too far but his power in the run blows away the opponent challenging him.

Yet he still has some growing to do.

Defiinitely the most consistent, best and most important player of the season so far along with Barza and Vidal. And maybe Tevez.

I can't think of CM in the world right now with his skills and characteristics. He's such a unique player. Not only among the youngsters, but around all midfielders in the world. Him and Vidal match amazingly well.

Let's just enjoy the moment. I guess he definitely has Juve's years ahead of him.

His stay will depend on Juventus economic and sportive growth in the upcoming years. If we manage to be real contenders in Europe and to keep an increased income, I'm sure Pogba will remain with us for the short term future (3-4 years at least).

The only time Juve sold against their will was with Zidane, since then we've managed to keep our players. Simple, don't see the guy at any price, he stated that he loves it here at Juve, so we have a fighting chance.
