So then, by default:

If player 1 age > player 2 age, then player 1 > player 2

That's just dumb stuff.

There's nothing wrong with nurturing younger players along, but Serie A is very unhealthy when it comes to this topic, including the fans. Quality will always shine regardless of age.

Same for Pirlo against European sides this season.

Please stop with the usual nonsensical talking points about the youth.
As in "young players without less then 10 games in top division" versus "over 100 games played, and proven quality"

And you offcourse knew i meant that, and are now just on purpose mix it up wrongly so you can mock it because diffrent opinion.

seriously, trow a good argument instead of beeing so low

Is there any relation between not playing Pogba in midfield and playing Bebe in an attacking position?
He gave a chance to an outsider who lived in a box before giving a chance to his own youth player at a far weaker position? He put a player on the pitch with no football skill except pace over a prodigy who is tearing up Serie A.

I guess if you can't understand the strangeness of that, I can't explain it to you.

But then the question becomes if Pogba continues to excel as backup, out-performing some regulars such as Marchisio, when will the breaking point be in giving him the first team shot. If it ain't broke-don't fix it only works in household economics and baseball.
Agree! That's the point no matter how well he plays he knows when if MVP are fit he won't start no matter how badly they are performing.

I see double standards here. When Quag scored vs Chelsea most people here wanted him to start because he was on good form. Same thing does not apply to Pogba. Strange.

When Quag scored vs Chelsea, our other forwards were failing and we couldn't find a working solution in attack.

On the other hand, we're talking about MVP here - they were pretty much the whole reason for our success last season and they've mostly been playing quite well. You don't just replace that with a 19 year-old kid in the match against our biggest rivals because he had two good games.

We all want to see a lot more of Pogba in the future, but it needs to be slow and consistent integration.

This is the usual rhetoric, 99% of the masses have the same opinion, that's fine.

I guess I still don't get it. You cannot compare all talents to experienced players. Like I said, quality always wins, not age or experience or ideals. There are some folks like Brocchi who have over 300 Serie A matches; his experience will never trump raw talent.

This is why I don't find this forum to be worth any time at all anymore.

Funny how everyone is trying to push in Marchisio's name discretely into their posts when he's been arguably our best player this season :howler:

Marchisio, Vidal and Pirlo (if all healthy) should start. Their importance to this team is unquestioned, whilst I fully support playing on form players, as well as rewarding a young potential star, it is ridiculous to keep one of either Vidal, Pirlo or Marchisio on the bench against Inter. Simply ridiculous.

Marchisio isn't fully fit. Your point is invalid.
Please don't talk sense with Lowlife. It just goes over his head every time.
