So no matter who arrives, even Zidane reincarnate, you wouldn't change the midfield.

This is what folks call complacency.
Ultimately you have to earn your place, granted Pogba has looked exceptional in the two games he's played, but most games this year the rest of our midfielders have been excellent, along with the other 38 games last season.

When one of them drops form of course Pogba deserves a chance and if he takes it like in the previous two games deserves to keep his place but at the moment our most inform and best trio is Marchisio-Pirlo-Vidal.

Pogba right now is in way better form than any of MVP. And this error prone youngster argument is ridiculous. How often has Pirlo given away balls in our own half, how often has Vidal misplaced his passes, how often has Marchisio looked like he didn't do anything all game long? Out of the three, Marchisio is the one I wouldn't bench him for because he seems to have a knack for turning up against Inter but as far as performances are concerned, Pogba deserves to start this one.

C'mon man. Baby steps. Our MVP trio is still the most tried and tested combination we have in midfield, in terms of performance in the big games and experience. Pogba will no doubt get his chance to shine in the future, lets not rush him.

I'd rather he comes on in the 70-75th minute and totally fucks and reams their tired midfield and defence :)

Well, he seems ridiculously good at this point, regardless of what Sir Jackass has to say. If Pogba continues to perform as a backup much like he did against Bologna, there really isn't any argument as to why others should remain first choice. It's up to the manager, and hopefully the manager knows that continued quality outweighs supposed continuity.
Even in the game against Bologna, you could see he wasn't maintaining a high intensity throughout in the way that is needed against good opposition.

For the next few months, people should just be pleased Juve have got such a talented player who can provide excellent backup, rather than worrying about throwing him in in big games when the established players are available.

So then, by default:

If player 1 age > player 2 age, then player 1 > player 2

That's just dumb stuff.

There's nothing wrong with nurturing younger players along, but Serie A is very unhealthy when it comes to this topic, including the fans. Quality will always shine regardless of age.

Same for Pirlo against European sides this season.

Please stop with the usual nonsensical talking points about the youth.

Serie A has been better lately with young players but it is probably caused by the financial decline of the league as teams don't have the money to buy top quality players anymore and thus, have better incentives to nurture young talents.

Still, it's a good sign.

In what way?

When he was man-marked by Chelsea, when Juve's whole team was being outplayed by Shakhtar or when Juve were doing okay and just failing to take chances against Nordsjaelland?

And why would you look to put Pogba into Pirlo's spot when he only looked alright there. It's when played higher up that he has really shown what he is capable of.

True, it has. Perhaps this is a bright spot of the decline. And honestly, for those that loves the Azzurri, they should be more supportive of giving these younger players a chance at the club level.

Never said I was contemplating that, obviously. I was just making a point. Pirlo looked slow against Chelsea and has not really produced his usual form in Europe this season. So if fitness or endurance is a huge issue, then we have more problems than we want to admit as our midfield was indeed under pressure during these CL matches.

This rhetoric is the same old stuff we discuss every single year. It doesn't matter how well they perform, it is the standard reply from those who simply follow the Italian football standard.
