This discussion is terribad. Ive had lots of experience with audio gear and I can tell you that you pay for more than you get whenever you buy a brand. Be that Sennheiser, AKG, Koss, Skull Candy or Beats. I think Beats and Skull Candy are terrible headphones not because of their hardware but because the soundscape is very tampered with to optimize it for pop music production.

but its not a bad product, its near perfect for pop and hip hop.
