It's up to you what you are getting about this transfer. For now I believe in this. How do you know that the price is agreed for the next summer in region of 80 mil?
Not the price agreed part, but that IMO we are very very very likely to sell him next summer because the player will want to. 80-100m, either way its alot, and either way likely sale if both parties wishes it, which is likely scenario.

I was being facetious btw. What I meant is his statement didnt exclude not selling him to them next summer. We dont gain anything from getting a pre-agreement for sale next summer, so ofcourse we will reject any such notion from them. But I like consistent stand on making sure we arent selling him this summer in statements.

You folks realize we are in a win win situation here, right? This really shouldn't be met with the drama this is getting.

Pogba stays: we win
Pogba sold: 100m or more richer

Fucking relax.
What if teams don't want to sell the targets we want ?
That's the biggest issue here.If Pogba leaves, only WC replacements have to be bought in.

So what if they don't? We have scouts. You know, the same scouts that found Pogba for free? Vidal for 10m? Berardi. Need I go on?

Marotta is not stupid, he knows that with a good Euro 2016 performance, his market value and demand will only go up. There's no way he'd agree to a pre-agreed fee for next season, taking the time value of money into account as well.

You say nothing in your post.First ,between 80 and 100 million it's a big difference. Then why and how we will be. like you say very, very very lucky to sell him next summer.Fucking Bale was sold for 100 mil.

That's when we were in a rebuilding phase. We aim for higher things now and for that we need guarantees.I wonder if u realize that.

@King of Kings - here is how I see it going down. Beppe was smart about reinforcements this summer. Replaced Tevez and to an extent Pirlo wither another great Bosman. Next summer one FB will be needed and the rest of our budget can be splurged on an AM. Our squad is so much younger this year so that is less elder players we need to look at replacing. If Morata leaves then that is a different story. Sorry for mentioning you but there are too many posts being thrown around right now.

We simply aren't in a position to be forced to show our hand. Finally. Juventus is in the drivers seat that the worlds biggest clubs can get all hot and bothered dealing with us and tripping over themselves.

:agree:

Not to mention all tius flirting will only make barca want it more when Beppe plays em and starts to listen to other offers, all of this will drive Pogs price up with nothing but hype, all this publicity is good.

Let's not forget another successful season, would probably make Paul want to stay. My only worry is what about other players start making demands like this will we fold? For Pogba scenario we're talking about an obscene amount of money so it's understandable. But what will happen when players like Dybala or Coman perform and get seduced by the likes of Madrid and Barca?

Here is what I realize. We built another army this summer in a post-rebuilding phase, significantly lowered the average age which means we have less players we will need to replace next summer and have assembled a team likely to play together for a long time. I wonder if u realize that.

Rather than insulting a player and wishing him injuries before anything has even happened try looking at the bigger picture.

I'm upset hes joining Barca more than anything else. And I would hate a pre deal with them.

I am just saying I won't be so certain as u with the money rather would be cautiously optimistic.

I know how you feel. I was extremely pissed of on how we signed Morata and I saw it as an insulting deal for a big club for Juve. However Marotta and Co. have a special way of making shirt work and so far they havent put a foot wrong.

Regardless we need to support our players and management.

Once he leaves I'll be joining you in berating him, until then ease up on the man.

It will either way will be alot of money we can use, I'm not fussed about the final details. Only detail I care about is Pogba wanting to stay, if he does, it would be great. If he doesnt, its huge shame and IMO we will have really difficult time properly using that money in this very inflated market. I rather we aslong as possible keep our biggiest commodity and star to see where this team can truly go.
