really? what does it mean then?
Just means that this is a value a club is willing to sell for. Usually it's an exaggerated value, but also it might be just above market value, if it is the only way a player will agree to a contract/contract extension. There might be a clause that it is a certain favoured club, league, city, etc.

which means we would sell him for the right offer. what i tried to say to the other guy was that we as the club are not interested in selling at all. putting in a release clause would mean the opposite.

Barca have release clauses in their players contracts as well.Doesnt mean they're a 'selling' club.
Spanish teams are obligated to have a release clause.. other then those when a club has a release clause, it indicates, that the player has e security incase one of the big clubs come calling...

Hmm.I totally forgot about that.Remember reading something like this when Athletic Bilbao were refusing to sell their stars. Thanks for reminding.

But anyway, release clause doesnt really mean intention to sell in this case.

Sure but sometimes the players growth explodes that of his value.. look at Dortmund, (Reus, Goetze,(Lewandowski)) at the time they signed these player, they weren't considered a big club, thats why they had to give the players an opt-out clause. now dortmund are holding out giving their players a release clause... even barca had to let go og thiago, because they 'undervalued' him...

id like to kick Real out first. the reason i would like Bayern in the final is because its played in Germany and it would be twice as good if we win in the end. i also think we have better chances against Bayern in one game then in two...

No way. We will choke so hard if we get Bayern and they'll humiliate us and all the mental recovery will be lost. I want anyone but bayern.

they have been the favorites to me this season and are the best team out there. they would beat Real/Barca in the semis IMO, and as i said, id rather play one game against them than two. better shot at beating them that way

If we get Real at all which will be the best option for us(if we pass Monaco) which I think that we will do.
yeah, Real is the best we can get. i would take them over Atletico too, thats why i want them to win tonight...

Real > Barca > Atletico > Bayern

Bayern is the best side this year and Atletico's playingstyle is very hard for us to beat. Real isn't in a superior form like last year and the only thing you need tot do is marking the most important players so they can't get the ball. Barca plays with a high defensive line and with our counters it is great to beat. Otherwise they have a superior attacking form, so that will be hard too.

Most ideal scenario: win Monaco - Semi-final: Real Final: Barca
