EPL fans thinking the EPL is better than it actually is = Most Deluded Fans

Serie A fan thinking the Serie A is better than it actually is = Best Deluded Fan?
There are only those that underestimate Serie A, like you and the guy above. Claiming that it is 3rd/4th best league on the continent is its current reality, which you seem to know very little about.

Nowadays, a good way to measure a league`s level is the CL. Italy has been failing royally since a couple of years

EPL league by that criteria is pure crap then. Their clubs have been underachieving in the CL for some time now. City, English champions, but couldn't beat CSKA in the last round. It can't be that simple, can it?

But you cant deny that overeall their presence has been felt in the last 5 years. Thats what im talking about. Chelsea have been consistant to some extent, reaching finals and semis, even winning one CL. Manchester won not so long ago. They have been protagonist.
Name one italian team who has done something productive since inter won...
Even in EL, results are underwhelming..and what torino is doing is like an exception.
We have the excuse of calciopoli, but the rest?.

I'm not denying that their clubs had better spell during the last few years and the reason why EPL finds itself on the 2nd place on Uefa's coeff. is obviously a testament to that. It was merely an example that even EPL clubs, their champion more precisely struggles in Europe, despite having invested hundreds of milions on the market every summer. IIRC they're eliminated twice in the groups over the last 4 years, finishing on the bottom on one occasion. The results English manage to obtain is not proportional to the overall investments in this sector. Two years ago not a single team had managed to progress to the QFs.

All I'm saying here is that insane underrating of Serie A needs to stop and it's becoming rather tedious from the same few around here that after every poor result from Italian clubs quite often place the league on par with the likes of Portugal or France, even worse with Greece or Turkey as I've seen here lately. Absurd.

This is most likely a salary-adjustment contract. That is, it will hardly have any bearing on how long Pogba sticks around, especially considering who his manager is. The way things are going, within 2 years tops, Pogba will be playing in EPL or La Liga.

I think Nedcved case was difrferent because he was really attachhed to Juve...especially after that magical 2003...he never looked back.
Nedved was special in that sense. Pogba has a whole career before him...and the best clubs in the world will fight for him sooner or later.

how do we know that Pogba won't get attached to this club too. maybe he is already, who knows. doesent seem like the guy who would chase extra few millions over his development as a player...

and btw. what i also like about his signing is that we bought him at a time when we were still creating a team. he was an unproven kid, we were a team in the building. and now that he is developing into a superstar, we, as a club will keep developing and getting better (on all fields) simultanely to his growth. by the time he becomes the very best, i wouldnt be surprised if we already have won a CL and created a super strong team AND grown enough financially to keep him even longer than we have maybe planned. no one knows what the future will bring, but one thing is certain. at this rate, he is closer to staying than leaving IMO.

i hope you understand what i was trying to explain here :D

I really think he is a good lad. The same with vidal.
What I fear will prog his desire to go away, is the lack of success in european footbal.

Lets be real, everyone wants to be on the same lines of messi and cronaldo. Pogba aims to be even better than pele and the liikes. If juve cant offer him that, and we offer him only defeats and falses hopes, he will go away pretty much like zidane did.
