From all the players I have watched, Ronaldinho's prime is the best when it comes to midfielder though very short lived. R9 in attack obviously.

I've not seen Platini play obviously but according to what I've heard of him, yes Pogba will probably not be as good as he was.

However, I think he has the talent to rival Zidane. For one thing he's significantly better than Zidane was at his age and I think he has that touch of genius that the great have.

Platini over Zidane imo. The only knock on Platini is that he played the vast majority of his career in France, when that league really was poor. He was, however, so incredibly dominant there, and managed to come to Serie A which was the best league in Europe then, and dominate Serie A and UCL with us for 4 years (3 of them were probably the best 3 year period any midfielder has ever had). Watch a dozen or so of his games on youtube, he really was brilliant. That 1982-1985 Juve, the interplay between Platini, Rossi, Boniek was incredible to see.
