I didnt mean that. We would use it to have more liquid money on hand. To need less operational loans, wich contributes to lowering dept.
Then, a fraction would be used to sign someone for less then 20 mil.

Basically, what milan did when they sold T. Silva and Zlatan, and got Balotelli 6 months later.


As you can see, we would do nothing with it really. Dont think about the Zidane -> nedved, thuram, buffon thing. THAT was when we were a financial powerhouse with no financial issues whatsoever, and could reinvest everything without trouble.

Im pretty sure we DO NOT want to sell vidal and pogba, but tell me, what do you think could happen if some crazy team comes with a 60+ million offer for one of those 2? It is not out of the question to at the very least check our options.

Anyways, no one is talking about doomsday or our team going broke. But this elimination will have heavy consequnces, especially if we dont salvage something worthy from the europa league.

Us failing to reach the second round of the CL with have little to no bearing on us willing to cash in on either Vidal or Pogba if someone comes in with 60m + transfers.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Vidal recently sign an extension and proclaim he and his family are more than happy to stay in Italy long term? And Pogba has recently said in interviews he is loving his life and football in Italy.

Why are we worrying about our big guns leaving? We have rarely been a selling club like Milan and Inter. We are on much more stable financial footing than either of those.
