this might sound like a radical idea at the moment, but i wouldnt mind if they included Matuidi in the deal. 1st off, United has shown interest before, seems like a player Mourinho would like. 2nd, we are draining the life out of him after a WC year, he could be done very soon, 1-2 years. just a gut feeling of mine. and 3rd, if we play Pogba as the left mezzala again, where does that leave him? but i wouldnt mind having both of them at all

No one forced him so he gets no sympathy here but Id gladly take him back. :)
I still believe we should have forced him to stay with us by giving him more money.

I think he would've come to his senses after seeing Manchester continue to be a shit team in the next 2 years, and with us improving our financial capability and bring in WC players each year.

Unfortunately we was still a stepping stone back then and it was hard to keep our best players away from rich clubs.

Im not keen on forcing players to stay although back then I was mad af :). But he left not only because of salary disparity between us and United, but they are globally more followed club with bigger fanbase so that was his opportunity to market the hell out of himself and consequently earn much much more than he would have if he had stayed with us.

Pogba is all about that marketability and publicity, so EPL >Serie A and ManU >us for him. in fact, ManU > anyone in EPL as well, so it was perfect for him. it didnt turn out quite like he imagined tho

At some point that marketability is taking a big hit when he developes a reputation as overrated utlity player whose world record transfer has become a joke
