but i don't even see a official statement I hope that alot of us are wrong and this really is just rumors and Pogba lights it up with us next year
I hope he stays with us. statistics nonsense, we can't find another Pogba. don't care the official statement because our board didn't say anything about Pogba! much worse!. they are silent, so it means something is happening!

Look. We have an awesome defense and our attack has been upgraded, but if we sell Pogba and end up with a midfield of Pjanic, Marchisio, Khedira, Asamoah, Lemina, Witsel, Sturaro, and Mandragora then it is a downgrade, and a massive one at that, considering who we lined up with in 2015. We lose a lot of tenacity, pace, physicality, mobility, dynamism, and that X factor in midfield. the midfield goes from top 3 to very good (maybe top 10). Too many ifs and buts, and too many variables, whether pertaining to injury, consistency, or reliability.
Soooooooo many people take this lightly. How incredibly downgraded our midfield has become WITHIN a year if we sell him after lastg seasons departure. Much more so with the injuries to half the starting mids too. Its ridicolous to not be kinda alarmed by this, a quality playmaker in Pjanic and some decent DM/CM off the bench or in ration is not enough, especially when not long ago we arguably had the best mid around with a select fw others in compeition.

Khedira > Vidal
Pjanic > Pirlo
Witsel >/= Pogba

Upgraded 2 of 3 mids, and at the very least got equivalent player for third spot. If anything, the midfield is improved from the MVPP of a couple years ago.
@Bianconero81 is just being melodramatic.

Then vidal, arguably yes but thats why i said 'pre knee issues'. But he seems to be back.

Iniesta ? Thats ridiculous.

Verratti ? Nope, verratti is a big impact every time he plays, wether it be minnows or barcelona. PSG got eliminated when he doesnt play and the difference is so damn huge, despite them having so many talents.
Not true. Thats exactly one of the things he is criticized for, he is pure quality, but he is a guy that doesnt seem to want to be in center stage usually, and he spends alot of time just being ok being a high quality role player that isnt mentally equipped to want to take charge and just go for it himself. Defenitely not as decisive as Pogba at his best, tho he has games where his insane qualities makes him kinda unstoppable. And yeah I would say in CL Veratti has had a few more noteworthy moments then Pogba, in particular vs Chelsea and Barcelona. But that doesnt make Verratti in Pogba's level, he can be, but he isnt yet.

I say this as someone who is a huge Verratti fan, there is no player I want more in Juve, not since first time I saw him in Azzurrini.

And the thing is he isn't a mascherano in defence either...

No, but very few are. But in fact Verratti's defending is hella underrated, would rate him higher then Pogba at it at this point, despite the power and size difference and Pogba being good defensively too.
