PSG is rich as $#@!. If a player wants to leave, they can easily let the contract run its full lenght and lose him for free at the end. Cause they dont need to sale cash.

Juventus on the other hand, does, and the motivation of the player is essential to our team. So we dont do that

This lession was for free
And let me also give you another lesson.

If want to sustain ourselves at the pinnacle of Europe's giants, we can't cave into player's demands whenever they say they want to leave. If we do, we will eventually lose our dominance and find ourselves once more finishing 7th and playing in EL ourselves. We need to be competing at the very top, yes, even to make money! The better players we have, the more $$ we make from sponsorships, prize money, TV viewing, marketing. The better players we have in Serie A, also makes it better for us. Look at Bayern with Ribery.

It's short term thinking about selling your best players for $$. That too not best players, but most marketable ones. Pogba in my opinion is not even our best midfielder, let alone our best player. I think it's Marchisio, but from a marketing standpoint, Pogba would bring the most $. He's the face of many of our commercials, and sold the most shirts etc.

What's the point of players signing contracts then? Just so that we can sell them off for $$ instead of free?

The club always holds all the cards, yet we for some reason opt short term $$ rather than long term sustainability.

$100 million or whatever is going to be a bargain for Pogba purely from a marketing standpoint alone, regardless of how successful he is or not.
Look at Rooney. The guy is a fat slob and a nothing player who has done nothing of anything important in almost 5-6 years. But he sells shirts. He wouldn't get in the starting line up of any of the CL teams!

Our board better hang on to Dybala. Cause if he's gone next, then we have no hope..

Back when united was a very succesfull team, they werent so different. Fergusson had the same opinion about the players. He was a maniac that wanted to win. If you didnt want to be at the club anymore he'd get rid of you eventually. There are quite a few players like that that come to mind

Man utd won the Cl.

Beckham left to madrid.
Later Stam left to Milan
Ronaldo left to madrid

And those are just a few. United is not a seller team. But when the player wanted out, they got the cash and sold.

Bayern ? If you are a true keyplayer in the prime and the offer isnt too good, you stay, if you want out and the offer is there, you can go. Ribery vs Kroos there.

Juve has rejected many big offers over the past years for various players. Player is now pushing towards the exit. We milked united to pay a truckload for a player who's current ability is far from such a value. And Pogba will never be remotely as good as Ronaldo for example.

Sure, marketting. But will pogba perform big time ?

For juve its simple. We only want players who want to be here, and are convinced of the club. If you force your way out, you can go when the price is right.

People act like 120 mil is earned back that quickly. Be realistic. This united is shit compared to 2008 or 1999. Lets see if they Qualify for CL.
