So in the end we probably will have exchanged Higuain + Matic/Wtisel for Pogba. Terrible.

Also we never should have sold Vidal, if you decide to let go of Pogba the next year. Vidal - unlike Pogba - could have been convinced to stay long-term with the right kind of financial offer. The way the midfield was management over the last 12 months isn't good.
Fuck Vidal

Well we'll probably get some 30 million midfielder, but the main spending has obviously been done already.
I disagree.

If we sell Pogba for 110M and Zaza for 25M + already sold Morata for 30M... THat's 165M outgoing.

Higuain 90M + Pjanic 30M + Pjaca 23M + Lemina 10M ... That's 153M incoming.

That means we'd be +12M on the mercato... Not to mention Higgy is paid for over 2 seasons. And we still have other small outgoing transfers potentially with Hernanes and that ilk. But ignoring that, we can generally afford to be in the range of minus 50M in a transfer window with our finances. Which means we could easily spend somewhere in the range of 60M still. We're not a club that has to balance incoming and outgoing transfers and end up at zero net spend.

Our balance has capacity for about $150MM net spend. Had $40MM in Cash on the balance sheet, and could raise $110MM in debt and still have a healthy balance sheet. There is definitely still room if the right deal comes along for sure.

As much as I don't want Paul to leave, I have to laugh at the notion that Man U has to pay us over 110 million + bonuses AND cover Raiola's commission to eradicate their own mistake from 4 years ago :lol:

@Ocelot

You think we aren't going to splash to strengthen our midfield? I don't mean buying a 60 mil midfielder. But I would not be surprised at all to see us buy someone like Herrera for 30-40 mil, and Matic/Witsel for 20-30 mil.
