Cavani? We both know that PSG it's not gonna let him go
Who else? Affordable?

According transfermarkt we are -8.5m and they don't consider 2m coman loan. So we are just -6m. So how do you think we could go?
I mentioned Cavani, not necesaarily PSG´s Cavani. Someone accesible, or someone brand new. What i wanted to mean is a striker in that line. Preferably someone young anc heap who we can make our own. Obvs is easier said than done.. but thats what we need in order to suceed.

What we needed against Bayern was more control and Pjanic improves us in that regard by quite a lot. It's very hard to improve on the Mandzukic-Dybala partnership, players that would do that cost a fortune. By the way Dybala himself is that superb scorer who is and will be our main scoring option for years to come, Mandzukic is the one who plays the role of bringing others into play and making room for the more technically gifted players like Pogba and Dybala.
Pjanic will do wonder on midfield i agree.

About MAndz, He needs to do what i said also. Not only make room for others but score by himself if possible. An Ibra-like striker. He is not that obvs.

Dybala is good to go, but his partner must also be excepcionally good in what he does, not just good enought. Thats the only way. I understand very well Mandz´s role and is for sure a good asset that we have and we need to keep. But we need a goalscoring variant who we can rely on.

WHo is that player? I obvs dont know, and finding him its a pain in the ass, as we have not found it in this 5 years. We have found 2 WC SSs in Tevez and Dybala, now we nee to find a 20+ goal prima punta, or something on those lines to partner dybala.

I don't think we need a new player to partner Dybala because in Mandzukic we already have that player. What we need is someone who offers that counter attacking option when needed.

Do you purposefully ignore every bit of evidence that counters your opinion? Because you clearly don't understand Mandzu's role, nor his ability.

Mandzukic scored 20+ goals in 3 straight season before last year. Only 11 players in Europe did this. He would have scored around 18-20 goals this season had he not missed about 15 games this season due to injury. And that's in a very unsettled team that was in horrible form for the first 2 months of the season...

Who are these strikers that are better than Mandzukic, that we can afford, or their teams are willing to sell them?

Lacazette? One season wonder as things currently stand. And in the French league to boot. Plus, would probably cost 50+.

Lukaku? Not good enough to sacrifice everything else Mandzu offers on the pitch.

Aubameyang? We can't even come close to affording him.

Cavani? PSG won't sell him.

Benzema? Real Madrid won't sell him.

Aguero? Lewandowski? Suarez? Higuain? See the above. Won't be sold, and we cannot afford them.

SO please tell me who this far more prolific striker than Mandzu is that we can get?

And please tell me about how Mandzu didn't lead Bayern's attack on their way to a CL title. And how he didn't score in the CL final for them... And how he hasn't been a 20+ goal scorer for 3 straight seasons before this one (22 - 26 - 20).

This premise that we need better than Mandzu is just stupid. Dybala + Mandzu is easily prolific enough to win a CL, especially with 10+ goalscorers in midfield like Pogba and Pjanic.

Dybala looks like he's going to be a 20-30 goalscorer in all comps next season. Mandzu 15-25. Pjanic 10-12. Pogba 10-15.

That's at worst 55 goals from 4 players. And at best 82 goals from 4 players.

If we land 60+ goals from just 4 players that will be fantastic. And it is also very likely.

You are talking to me about Bayern´s mandzu and talking about past scoring records. IM talking about Juventus Mandzu. You are happy in what he did last season, im ok with it but i want more. Theres no clearly a available striker who we can get, but thats marotta´s job to find the next "pogba" in attack or something..since we clearly cant afford top tier stablished forwards. We will have to find our or try to poach them early at an accesible cost.

Again, mandzu was god before, but it was on his prime days in Bayern. He has still to show that form here over a whole season. Until then, ill stand my ground.

I'm beginning to think we've seen the last of Pogba in this jersey. Man U are so desperate that they will actually give us whatever stupid out of this world amount we ask for.
