I don't think a team who are in trouble and need to change a lot will be looking for a 100m-rated player. They'd look to spend too much on different targets to overhaul most of their roster.

I'd expect Pogba to move to a club starting the next season at the back of a successful season. A club not looking to change a lot and is willing to spend their transfer budget on one or two big names only.
Imagine Vidal and Pogba at Bayern. :(

I think its great that the EPL teams have all sunk very low this season and that coincides with a massive increase in every EPL club's finances. Chelsea will definitely be hitting the market with everything that they have got and if Guardiola does go to city then we can know that City will be doing the same. United is still in shambles and is the richest club in the world now and so they too will be going all in for the best players in the market. With Klopp signing for Liverpool, I expect a lot of transfer activity and the added riches to them and Tottenham should be reflected in the summer.

Similarly, Bayern are starting a new era with Ancellotti and will look to keep pace with Barca and Madrid and maintain the distance they have over the EPL and Serie A. So again expect them to hand ancellotti a nice sizable transfer kit to mold his team in the manner that he wants to.

When it comes to Barca and Madrid, these two only care about getting the best players possible regardless of the cost. Since Pogba is the best coming talent on the block, both will try to make sure he signs for them and a bidding war will ensue. Money is never an issue for them as long as they have the absolute best players, they dont just look to have great players but they rather want the absolute best even if a slightly less player but substantially cheaper is available.

Raiola is right. If Pogba decides to leave, it seems 100 mill wont cut it. We will possibly have City, Barca, Madrid, Bayern, Chelsea, PSG and United competing for his signature and he will probably end up at one of the spanish teams. I am glad his agent is Raiola because he knows how to get a fortune for his players. Its time to break the all time transfer fee record.

The fact that every EPL team in the top 6, and to a less extent bayern, will undergo massive changes while Barca and Madrid will very likely want pogba means that there will be a lot of great players moving around and that Juve will have a lot of money to spend. We could seriously improve our squad next summer especially if we win Serie A again and have a decent showing against Bayern.

Isco, Kroos, Gotze, matic, Fabregas, Oscar, Mata, Griezman could all be on the move.
This is one of those times when we need to strike when the iron is hot. Chelsea & Man U. are prime for selling and if we play our cards right could get a decent bargain or two. With some of these EPL teams flopping now is the time to start asking for Oscar, Cesc, etc. I can see them looking to clear house before adding new names.

Marotta will land our usually freebies and we can invest accordingly. Would be nice to get Banega for free and maybe Cesc if available.

If we sell Pogba (hopefully not) Verratti has to be the replacement. The best Italian player of the new generation, a Juve fan should be quite easy to keep here for ages once we get him. We need to find stability of our squad, we simply can't sell a star or two every Summer.

Yeh i said this some months ago. Its only logical.

The counter argument is that he is not worth that, and i kinda agree. But the hype around him, and the potential he has is real. Not only that, but the moment we let the world know Pogba is on sale... the teams with money will literally go to war to see who signs him, and that means a money war. theres no 2 ways about it.

Agree. He has all what it takes to continue making our engine ticking

:agree:

Nice post.

It seems it's all going to be down to Pogba come summer. I doubt we can persuade him to stay, with Serie A as weak as it is and the chance for us to earn over €100m.

Kinda annoys me that he took the no. 10, only to see him leave this summer, but we've got Dybala now.

Seeing that he transferred himself to Chelsea on FM, maybe we could do a swap for Fabregas and cash.

If pogba leaves for that money, i am not convinced with high profile like kross, isco, etc.
The problem, looks like our management does not want to give salary more than 4,5 million.
5 is the best number.
High profile will request more.

Who? As far as i know, gazetta said that pogba current salary is 4,5 million.
just meant that in general juventus won't go higher than that.
So all those players who are on 7m or more per year won't get here.

I'd disagree that our limit is let's say 5 mln net. Buffon has been earning 5 mln net when our revenue was 30% smaller. We are growing rapidly and no one can predict what is going to happen.
