Evra to Juventus, it's all done: 2m + bonuses ( small) to Manchester and 3.5m net per season for 2 years to the player - Romeo Agresti

I like this deal. We'll have Evra for just a couple years and I think he still has the ability to play top football still. I thought he had a solid World Cup.

Also, what other alternatives are there to Evra? What LBs are out there? Rodriguez? He's going to cost a ton of money on the transfer fee and still have considerable wages. I rather pay a small 2M fee, and pay the 14M wages over the next two seasons and use the cash to get our other targets. I don't know, to me this doesn't sound like a bad idea. Asamoah will most likely start, and Evra will be used as a rotation player and when Asamoah is gone for the African Cup. He can't be worse than Peluso.

Was Cole around 2m net pr season?
His basic pay is less than that even, but it's very bonus-based. He could get €90,000 p/w pending these bonuses. Evra's average is €67,000. I still think Cole would have been the better deal but hopefully I'm wrong.

Evra should fit in more immediately, mostly because of language, culture, history and team-mates. Cole is not super smart, and English players are typically hopeless with language.

To be honest, I really don't see how Cole will fit into Roma's squad or lockerroom.
