just my personal opinion as i watched the Premier League every week from 2006 to 2012. Evra was better every season (not by far) but the last 2-3 seasons, Cole has the edge as he "aged better" and got more consistent than Evra...

He's already 33! specially for a leftback that has to run up and down all game. One year deal and no more. It would be a waste of wages if we give him anymore.

A waste of wages for someone who'll virtually play for 2 seasons if he signed?? What bout all that waste of wages accumulating on our bench?
