Do you use Meristem culture?
Yes we do :) How do you know about the plant cell business?

What about epiphytic orchids...do you do these?
They are less suceptible to drought are they not...?
Yes they are less susceptible to drought, but we don't have any problems with that, so all of our plants are grown in pots with the roots submerged in soil :)

HIIT - High Intensity Interval Training

Basically, it's a way of running and/or training you could say. The basics is alternating between moderate and high intensity workout. if you're running, it means you run at a normal, moderate tempo for 5 minutes and then do an all out sprint for 1 minute, run again normally for 5 minutes, and again sprint for 1 or 1.5 minutes. Altho both sprinting and LD (long distance) running burn roughly the same amount of fat and calories while working out, sprinting is much harder on the body and it speeds up your metablosim, so you actually burn more energy even after your excercise is finished, contrary to LD. Sprinting builds muscle while LD running actually burns up muscle over time. So, HIIT is a technique that uses elements of both worlds. The goal while sprinting is to bring your heart to 90-95% of its max.
Thanks for the info, Zlatan.

Very interesting...tell me about your political interests Poku...where do you stand in the world?

What have you read, believe in, etc?
I'm a member of Kokoomus, it's a conservative party, currently 3rd largest party in Finland (biggest if you look at the results of last EU election :D) So I'm not a communist, don't worry! :D ;) But still it's quite difficult time for our party, we we're the biggest loser's in last parliamentary election and we've been looking for our "new look" for a moment now. We just recently changed our party's chairman and luckily it's seems that our support is rising again...

Joining to this party was my own, personal decision, my family doesn't really support any political movement, but now they're supporting me and my decision, so I'm happy. I looked carefully at every party's programs and websites, magazines etc. It was a long process but now I feel that I made a right decision, this is definitely the best place for me. I'll try to get to the local council in next election which will be held in autumn...

Mr. Poku. I certainly hope that you do not forget about us in the future- when you become Kokoomus Party leader. :)

I am a member of the US Democratic Party, btw.

Yep, I even have a special reward certificate given to me by our Virginia Branch- as a college freshman at the age of 16 I was volunteering to stand under the sun all day and register people to vote/give out absentee ballots. And I wasn't even a US citizen! I've done a lot of volunteer work for Democratic Party while in college. But that was like 8 years ago.

I am still very conservative on fiscal issues and pro-life.

In this year's elections I haven't made up my mind on who I support.

For the Scottish Premier League? :p He's not the player he was even two years ago, not by a long way. Could still do a job though.

    Martin: criticise.
Between my original post and now, I've read that he's denied ever saying what he's supposed to have said, and anything reported to have been said by him, unless it was said on his websites 'said' webpage , he didn't say.

Besides, even for the SPL, he's a little too old.

I have Ping Eye 2 irons, a Callaway War Bird Driver, Adams 7 wood and a Ping Pal 2 putter. My handicap is not very good at 18.2 .

Wow...your a serious golfer. My clubs aren't as modern as yours. I've got a Callaway Big Bertha 11 degree Driver, the original Adams fairway metal wood, a couple of Taylor Made Woods (Spoon and Brassie), and a set of Callaway Irons with matching tour bag. As for putters...I've got a locker full of them, for all the good that does me:dontcare:...plus maybe another ten or so individual clubs I've bought over the years to see if they will miraculously improve my game. When I was a kid I was a junior 9 handicap, then when I moved up to the medal tees proper, I was once an 11 handicapper, but haven't played for about four years...so probably couldn't hit a barn door now with a seven iron at twenty yards:frown:

In case your wondering...most of these things were Christmas presents and birthday gifts. Never a problem it seems buying gifts for a golfer:(

As for football jerseys, I have 3 Juventus (Black from 01-02, home from 02-03, and home from 03-04), Bayern Munich 02-03 home, Valencia 02-03 away, Manchester United L/S Black 03-04, hmmm... oh yeah, Udinese 00-01, Spain 02, France 02 with Zidane, Italy home 00-01, Italy away 02.

I'll take a picture of them and post them. Oh, and none of them are signed :( and I'm gonna see my first soccer game in person with European teams at SkyDome in Toronto on July 31st, when Celtic play Roma. Maybe I'll get a signature on my Italian jersey.

    Great collection of tops.

I wish I was going to the Roma-Celtic match. I was at the last one in Glasgow about, oh, seven-eight years ago

Here is my (very) small gallery. Pictures were taken with a Practica on a black-and-white film. I developed them (cutting, exposing etc.) in a lab with my own hands. So the only digital process was the scanning. The negatives (e.g. windows) were also produced while working in the lab - no photoshop action.

But it is very long-winded until you get the picture in your hand. So I really prefer digital cameras - though working in the darkroom gives an artistic touch. The specific is that you can ruin your pictures very easily in the lab. :D The Practica was a very modern camera (in the former GDR). It had an integrated gimmick which showed wether the picture will be exposed well or not - very cool at that time.

Now cameras have installed image stabilizer. :reminiscing: :)

EDIT: How expensive are cameras in Norway?? I wouldn't save any money by ordering at adorama.com (neither Canon Powershot nor Kodak DX6490)

These are great. You have a talent there kurvengeflüster. I'm very impressed
