Because cricket is not an Olympic sport, and they've underachieved in hockey for years although they have a bronze medal match vs Spain coming up. Otherwise it's not like India really invest into other sports
They just don't fund any other sports to a competitive level? I'm sure this will change over time.

Correct me if I'm wrong cricket and hockey is their 2 national sports so their funding goes into them. Even in football they're not even a major nation in Asia, their Indian super league project never really took off despite having the likes of David James, Materazzi and Del Piero in their league, they've never been an athletics nation but I guess that would have something to do with families unable to send their kids to train in such sports, where as cricket and hockey is much more accessible to those less fortunate, even if hockey in the UK is perceived as a private school sport.

Entitlement. The Muricans, Euro Cucks and Strayas (especially in the pool) feel they're the only ones allowed to cheat and get away with it.

Kudos to Pan and China for fucking with them. That Kangaroo shagging bogan is extra salty - what a sad pathetic moping sack of shit.
Lol bro you’re salty as fuck

Talk about cheating and then hope the Chinese of all people win lol.

His dad used to hoop for the Knicks, Warriors and Nets back in the 70s and 80s. He might be impressive, but it's the Olympics: basically Serie B (if not lower) level football being played.
No wonder he is 195cm tall! I guess I am just rooting for him as he is the type of midfielder that can control the flow of the game. Would certainly replace Loca in my books. He will be a monster if he can bulk up a little bit & maintain his agility.

I'd imagine the same problem also exists as it does for Indian/South Asian footballers in the UK - education and a respected career is all-important.

Cricket is head and shoulders above in terms of funding and that has to do with the BCCI being a ruthless money making machine. Hockey doesn't get funded anywhere near that either. There is funding for other sports, but grass root level support is non-existent. I do expect that to change, but it'll take a few decades for any sustained impact to be noticed.

And salty towards Australians. That's just weird. Who hates Australia?

Now Australians abroad can be a handful. They can be incredibly loud and they are sometimes very out of touch with European customs. I guess they're not unlike Americans in that sense. But come on, let them have their kangaroos and their swimming.

He may have well cheated, but there is no evidence to suggest that. Again, the Muricans and Strayas seem to think they own the pool (and they do in a lot of competitions), but the way the guy and his coach conducted themselves (especially the coach) and came out hurling accusations, it's just ridiculous. You lost, so fucking deal with it.

If I'm salty, then your swimmer and his coach, the way they comported themselves, are a gazillion times saltier.

I'm sure if Chalmers had lost to a Marchand or Caleb Dressel, we wouldn't be hearing negative comments from him or his coach, only congratulatory messages.

No offence, but you live in ladyboy paradise.

I'd like to see you put on a happy face if you had to go back home to giant man eating spiders and belligerent kangaroos.

And that's just Sydney.

Bro. Ladyboys can be aggressive and hostile as fuck. They gang up on hapless tourists in Pattaya and Phuket.

You know what Trump would say if he had to choose between giant spiders and aggressive ladyboys?

He'll take electrocution every single time.
