The funny thing is in all that you say is that you can only make fun of tolerant people aka Christians , so in the end it's just another virtue signaling by the freak director or whatever he is.
Also you did emphasize the word DID as in the church DID , but it doesn't anymore so....

Those people are a bunch of idiots. Imagine living in countries based on Christian values, being able to be who you are without any problems. Then, go on to change Easter to Transgender Day and depict Jesus as a fat lesbian queer, calling everyone who isn’t okay with that transphobic or conservative while literally showing their balls on stage.
I'm really done with these freak shows. It has nothing to do with acceptance anymore. Dressing up as a satanic goddess to read books in front of children or mocking figures millions of people see as holy is a bridge way too far for me.

The director is so dumb that he doesn't even realize the damage he is doing to these people .
The only outcome is that it unites all religions against this type of behavior and against these types of people , while the atheists are starting to get bored ,numb and disgusted by this stupid ideology showed in their faces.
I mean no sane person turns on the TV to watch someone's ball sack plastured all over ,vin a ceremony that should be about sports and the pinnacle of human prowess.
Maybe the Olympic commette should add a ball sack hanging from it's rings as a symbol for the next Olympics .

Still think @Bianconero_Aus comment about Australia is very valid. Whilst there might be smaller countries with more medals per capita, many of those countries excel in one or two area and focus on those (Cuba in boxing, Jamaica in short sprints, Bahamas in 400m). Australia punch way above their weight in a multitude of different events whilst being excellent in certain things like swimming, very strong general sporting culture.

btw we also won at least 5 golds in kayak/canoe, waterpolo, swimming, fencing, wrestling, boxing, athletics, pentathlon and shooting. hungary has at least 10 medals in 13 disciplines, not bad either. we can't currently compete with australia though, they take sports much more seriously as a nation

There's no commandment about gays. There is a commandment about false idolatry.
That and Islam doesn't have a centuries-long history of institutionally normalizing the persecution, pogroms, and murders of French queers. But there's always hope for the future I suppose.
