Dousing yourself in scents is a feminine expression in my opinion, and I always chuckle when walking on the street or in public transport and some masculine looking guy is scented. It seems like overcompensating to me, much like other accessories if done wrong. Makes me chuckle.

INB4 gender is a social construct
This kind of cliche mans man thinking makes me chuckle even more, take things for what they are, not for what you are supposed to think about them as a "man", just comes off juvenile.

Parfume is just a an accessory, nothing more. All kinds of em, if some are too strong/fruity, then find ones who arent, that simple.

@Nzoric I would say Sauvage is the way to go for you, if you really 'had' to wear one. Pretty old school and doesn't smell like a tart's handbag.
I got it as a gift recently, its very good, lowkey and nice, he doesnt know about it so judge it the same as one that smells like a daisy prolly.

Better then smelling like you sweating your ass off :p

I wouldn't know. The only parfume I've used was back in high school, think it was La Male by JPG. Since then I haven't used a squint.

If you're a fan of parfumes it's only logical that my position comes off as juvenile or cliche, just like I find your position to be one of conforming to feminist standards for how and what males should look/smell like. Honestly the most compliments I've had for how I smell is when I have a shower in the morning, put on a nice deoderant - spend the entire day being active. The combination of my natural smell and deoderant seems to work and I'm way more confident doing that routine than dousing myself in scents. I'm not even a huge fan of females putting on parfume, it can work if the balance is just right (just a tad on the neck and wrists) but if I can smell it without giving her a hug or kiss then it's an instant turnoff for me.

hate it when you can smell their perfumes when they just walk by or stand like 2 meters from me... And usually it's the same type of girls with this. Those that want to be "posh and high class" but actually are wannabe sluts.

Well tbh, men usually here are subtile when they use perfumes, not many use them and when they do, they usually aren't overusing them. 100% of gay men do use though, haven't met one that wasn't using some kind of perfume and was gay here.

As for girls, 90% use too much. It just gets on nerves, when you can smell all their perfumes from mile away.

Guys that are pro perfumes - do you use them everyday?
I'm not bothered about them but only when I'm going on a 'night out' do I use them, not for work etc. Mine tend to last for about 8 years :D
