According to talkSPORT, Sunderland's hopes of landing Paolo De Ceglie have been boosted after the player's representative held talks with Juventus general director Beppe Marotta over his future in Turin.
However, despite those strong reports claiming a deal was close, the player's agent has since rubbished the remarks. Speaking to fantagazetta, De Cegile's agent Carlo Pallavicino has revealed his client is happy in Turin. "There is no negotiation between my client and Sunderland," he said. "There is nothing to confirm.Paolo is very happy to be at Juventus. He thinks of nothing else, the rest is just talk."
