He's limited as a player but i really like the way he tries hard to impress. His attitude is definitely  .

If only he was a better player....
Definitely agree about his attitude part, but do you think he can improve more.. I remember watched Ziegler in the past since his Totenham days and get loaned here and there.. But after his pretty much improved season under DN in Samp and not bad WC, people rate him.. DC is no worse than Ziegler in the past, but do you think he can change his fortune under DN? I actually see the improvement in him on last 2 games against good opponents, M. City and Inter apart from Adam Johnson goal which people blamed him. Will it progressing?

Personally i always believed that players perform much better in a better "team". Even average players can look really good if they play with group of players that work great together as a team.

I mean just look at Molinaro, the guy was a clown here. Everyone joking about him yet he was last season the best LB in the Bundesliga :shifty:. We had our share of average/just decent players even in some of our best teams in the 90's.

I'd be really happy if DC managed for example to reach the level of a player like pessoto. Pessoto wasn't a brilliant LB, actually the guy was limited. But he used to defend well, cross the ball well and did everything he's suppose to do (nothing special about his game) yet he stayed with Juve for more than 10 years.

I think that DC can reach that level if he really worked hard (its possible).

Molinaro was not the best LB in the Bundesliga.:shifty:

And Pessotto is a different story, during the 90's fullback tasks were not the same,Wide football was rarely used it Italy, and almost every team in Italy used to play TreQ not wings.

I disagree with you that average players perform better in stronger teams, but i do agree that De Ceglie really has the potential to improve himself and he is not a limited player.

how is a player that is not able to hit the ball with his weak foot not a limited player ?

i mean ok, if he was really agile and had a great left foot with technical ability, than he could still be good, but even his strong foot is as weak as my weak foot
