It wouldn't be anything more than a six month loan right?
Well, yes. He is still Southampton's problem, after all

Llorente's about to get real comfortable with the rest of the lads on the bench. I can't see him getting nearly as much game time as he did at the start of the season if we get Osvaldo in plus Morata is slowly but surely picking up his game after missing the pre season because that fat fuck Rubinho came here to make 200k a Year and injure our players.

can't believe this is going to happen... Giovinco has less than 200 Serie A mins, Coman 200 mins, Morata had just 2 Serie A starts before January; why Osvaldo if Giovinco goes out...

Coman is too raw to be relied upon, and he's not really a striker. So with Giovinco going we can't afford to have 3 people for 2 spots. It's a basic rule you want to be at least 2 deep for every position. Thankfully our strikers haven't had legit injury concerns since the start of the season but we could quite easily find ourselves fucked with 3 strikers. Say Tevez gets injured and we're left with Morata/Llorente up front and nobody to play to let them rest. Keeping in mind we've been using a 2 striker system for god knows how many years, we can't afford to be so light in the striker department.

Coman's not a striker and hasn't shown that he can be relied upon at all. Llorente and Morata haven't exactly set the world alight this season. Giovinco is crap and leaving.
