If we are going to gamble,, it would be better to do it on the league against smaller teams..than doing that against unknowns we dont know.

We dont know for sure what kind of team will show against us on feb 20th...so better just to be sure...lets field our best 11 and treat them like if they were real madrid. Just to be on the safe side.

Trabzonsport is by no means an easy opponent
no they're worthless garbage. even more worthless than the Danish clubs we choke against in the CL

If we fail to beat them HOME AND AWAY CONVINCINGLY it will be nothing more than a failure
no excuses this time.

Osvaldo can make the difference for Juventus, says Camoranesi
The 37-year-old has high expectations for the flamboyant attacker and thinks he can guide them to silverware in Italy and Europe this term
Former Juventus winger Mauro Camoranesi believes the reigning champions have what it takes to win the Scudetto and the Europa League following the arrival of Pablo Osvaldo from Southampton.

The Argentina-born Italy international joined Juve on a six-month loan deal on deadline day of the January transfer window.

Camoranesi feels his compatriot offers the Turin giants something they did not have before.

"It's nice to see another Italian-Argentine at Juventus. I hope that he can become part of Juventus' history," Camoranesi told Tuttosport.

"He is a talented and creative attacker, different to their other attackers. I think that's the main reason why Juventus brought him in.

"Osvaldo has had his highs and lows, but I think he can make that final step at Juventus. Juventus are an institute and help players grow. It's the right place to make another step forward.

"With the arrival of Osvaldo, Juventus have what it takes to win two trophies.

"They pretty much have the Scudetto in the bag and they must emerge victorious in the Europa League, too. They have the will to not only win the Scudetto, but to be successful in Europe as well."

Juventus currently hold a nine-point lead over Roma in Serie A, while they meet Trabzonspor in the Europa League round of 32.

deservedly??? how so?
Well, both our starting strikers right now are playing their first season in Serie A and will sooner or later show a dip in form. You might even argue that Tevez is experiencing one right now. Considering the work he's put in these last 6 months it's only human, too.

In steps Osvaldo. Highly motivated and fresh, he can contribute alot in the next 6 months, which will be tough even if we consider ourselves to be favorites in both competitions.

I like both Tevez and Llorente very much and am glad that we have them as our two starting strikers. However, let's be honest. We're not talking about a front two partnership of the Del Piero-Trez calibre here. They won't be able to carry us through the whole season. We need a highly motivated third striker that can start in any game. Not just some bench warmers we can throw into a Coppa tie and hope the best for.

Osvaldo will be that third striker and at the end of the season we will all be glad he was brought in :)

I wouldnt place Osvaldo at a higher rank than our bench options upfront. He is at most slightly better in my opinion. I hope he proves me wrong.

You can only compare him to Quag and he's much better than him.
Better? maybe.. much better? I doubt it.

I dont see him increasing our chances for any competition that we are now in. I dont think this season will end differently than it would have if we had just stuck with Quags and Vucinic.

From Southampton's side I can see why they took the deal. He wasnt performing anyway so he wasnt affecting their season positively at all and its just damage limitation on their part. Now they have a chance to re-coup some of the money they paid for him or atleast have him back in a better form than how he was with them.
