Just because the strike force changes doesn't mean we won't play a mostly strong team. I'd imagine Ogbonna and/or Caceres might come in, Marchisio, but the rest may well be the same.

We could do that in the league from time to time instead and play the first 11 in the EL, but nah...

That strikeforce is still good enough to go pass Trabzonspor.Lets not overreact now.

If we pass the next round, against Viola,we might very well put our strongest team, you never know.

It's not like we're running the show in the league, so I guess you're right.

I bet that strikeforce would still be good enough against the likes of Chievo and Livorno, but that's just me.

No point in hoping for anything in EL with this club.

Complacency is our main adversary from here on, so it's risky business. Roma had us down to +6, and still might.
You can't possibly believe that. It's not like I'm saying we should field Quag against minnows in the league. Vucinic and Osvaldo are perfectly capable of destroying Livorno and the likes for the same reason we're playing them against Trabzonspor or whatever they're called. Even in other positions; Ogbonna, Caceres, Marchisio and so on... They can take on Trabzonspor but Livorno? That shit's for pros. I understand when Conte has to field his best 11 against teams who could "possibly" cause us some damage, but he's overdoing it for sure. Take the Samp game for example and see when he decided to sub off Tevez and Llorente. That tells you a lot.

Oh I agree about rotating the squad based on league opposition, but I can see for example why he rotated the squad for the Roma Coppa game with Lazio away to follow. Either side of Trabzonspor 1st leg we play two 'easier' games, although one is the derby, so that would be an opportunity to change. After the second leg we play Milan away, so I expect that'll take precedence.

And I do very much believe our own mentality is our biggest obstacle, it seems pretty clear to me watching matches that when we are not mentally switched on and believe a game is over we are a far inferior team.

well if we're to be humiliated vs some shitty atrocious pathetic Turkish team not named gala we might as well experiment instead of using the fxcking 352

Trabzonsport is by no means an easy opponent, plus they'll be motivated as fuck. Just read their comments after the draw.

So we're going with the Coppa approach I see...fielding a weaker squad.
You know, since that has worked so well for us :agree:

Ok I'm not really aware of the details of this deal so can someone please tell me if its an option to buy him or an obligation?

If its an option then what are the chances that Marotta will still buy him for 20m so that he does not ruin the years old traditional strong bond between Juve and Southampton?

Option to buy for €19m.

And see these comments from Marotta to pretty much confirm we will not pay that for him:
"The objective of this transfer was to raise competition and motivation. Osvaldo was an opportunity we couldn't miss out on."

"It's a free loan and the player has drastically reduced his salary."

"The option to buy Osvaldo at 19M is an arbitrary number. We will evaluate how he adapts."
