There aren't alot of quality strikers out there that would join us knowing they'd do so as a 3rd/4th choice. Osvaldo has shown quality and talent at times, and maybe that is enough for a backup player. I don't like the idea either, especially because he seems like he's poison for the locker room, but I'm ready to trust our MGMT. If we do take him on loan until summer I think it's pretty obvious that we have no intention of buying him. Unless of course something absolutely unexpected happens.

Yep, I think Conte has lost all confidence in those players, as we saw vs Roma, we suck without Llorente and Tevez, we'd be in a mess if either of those got injured. Bringing in Osvaldo who Conte will manage down to a t, is a very good move.

Also, I highly doubt we can find a better striker to be our 3rd choice. He's way better than Floccari, Gilardino, Pazzini and others.
