Baggio: He is an improvement over our two current backup attackers in Quag and Gio, so in that sense he is a step up. In overall footie qualities, when you consider his persona, I would rather we flush down this deal immediately.

Don't forget we're speaking about a third choice striker now. You can name some player maybe (maybe, who would come here, but you know those are just dreams) who's better than him, but I don't think many would look forward to come here when we have Tevez and Llorente as starters who play very good and who won't be considered as bench players any time soon.
I genuinely thought we'd give Jojo another look in, in the summer. 20-25m bid? Jackson Martinez too. They maybe more expensive, but they have a far higher ceiling and potential for the long term. Its like I said, there's no argument against Osvaldo for the next 6 months. But the next 3-4 years? Then thats pretty banal quality on the bench.mwe should be freeing up funds to take a bigger leap seeing our lessons in Europe.

I don't see how OS. You really think he's going to put up better numbers than Quag or Gio in the game time he gets? He's more likely to be getting into arguments and fights for the lack of playing time than getting us goals. All things considered, I don't think it's a step up. And Vucinic is a more complete player for my money, but again, they're both as inconsistent. Osvaldo for 6 months is a clever move. For 3 years.? It's a bad one.

Osvaldo punched fairies like Lamela and Fonte.

Juve has no fairies, so if anyone is going to get punched its going to be Pablo if acts like a hot shot with our players.

Its a very good opportunity if we were only getting him for 6 months, but we arent Douchen...This so-so decent player with absolutely awful attitude will be around for years to come...And that, is defenitely something to question.
So-so player doesn't score around 10-16 goals each year for 4 seasons. Six months of his failure in England made people erase his previous seasons.

Osvaldo has some Mirko characteristics inside of him, like being inconsistent at times and when he tries to do much by himself. But he can also be damn good on his day.

Looking just at his qualities as a player I'd say he's good, I wouldn't question his abilities much because his movement is decent, he can score with head and feet, has decent technique and he's good with the ball. Like I said, all of that suits to be a player who's a 3rd choice. I can't stress out the importance to say that. In case we didn't have Llorente this move would probably give me a big ass headache. But not at the moment - don't forget - I'm talking about about his qualities as player only. I do agree he's a dirty guy with shit attitude.

To pay 3+10 million for this guy when you'll probably have Mandzukic available in the summer for 20 is dead on stupid.

You have entered Football Manager mode. Why? Keep tabs on Jackson and see his fee when he joins some club. It will be even more than that sum you mentioned, which will turn out to be 3-4 times higher than what we're paying for this guy. It's way too freaking unrealistic and don't forget he would not come here (as good as he is) to be a third choice player.

Many top clubs will chase Madzukic and offer him a starting spot because he's very good. Can we offer him that? Nope.

Top clubs don't offer starting spot to anyone and I do believe he will go in the price range of Gomez last year. We must go for him.

You're wrong. Sometimes it's obvious that clubs tell him he'll be their first team player. For instance, he can easily join Dortmund and he'll know that he will always play there.

We have Tevez and Llorente, don't forget that. People will yet again be (like with Aguero, Dzeko etc.) We missed the opportunity to sign him  , but truth is, we never really stood a chance to sign him. And again, reason is simple, he will not join our club to be considered a rotation player and a 3rd choice striker.
