He's a good player but his attitude concerns me.

He's definitely better than the likes of Quag, Vucinic and Giovinco.
This post sums it up. I wouldn't include Mirko there but he obviously wants to go, plus he's getting old and this is the chance when we can get some money for him.

And once again -- do people actually think we had a better option available instead of Osvaldo? Many people pretend like this is FM and say look, we could have signed him x millions. While in fact I highly doubt Marotta would buy some random player if he had better choices out there. I'd rather take this transfer than Floccari, Pazzini or Gilardino.

Is Osvaldo a nut case? He sure is. Will he offer something good on the pitch? Da. Too many people focus on the last 6 months but yet ignore previous 3-4 years.

Mirko's loan/transfer will cover the loan we're paying for Osvaldo and if we eventually sell Mirko it will turn out that we almost didn't pay anything for Osvaldo.

He is better then Quag, but not Vucinic.
They're about the same to be honest. He's not better by much, if at all. And just as inconsistent. I fail to see how he's going to score more than any of the other 3 players we have, given that he's going to be on the bench just as much.

He is better then Quag, but not Vucinic. But bottomline is, his football qualities is not good enough to justify signing a totally retarded moron with poor attitude.
Mirko has more assists as he is more of a SS.
They goal ratio is pretty much the same...

I don't think anyone is contesting the Osvaldo acquisition in the short term Dooz. But it's a very questionable move in the long term, given the direction the club claims it wants to move in. Under the circumstances, Osvaldo maybe the best player we can get between today and tomorrow. But, if it's anymore than for 6 months, then i would question Conte and zmarrotta's vision.

Overall qualities is defenitely way more well rounded player then Quag, strong, technical, better header, little faster. Holds and links up play better (quags main weakness, cant get involved in overall play of the team). They would score similar numbers, or Osvaldo scoring more simply because he has more dominating presence enough to get in more scoring chances. But he is signed for backup role, so yeah wouldnt score much, but defenitely know he would be more useful footballer then Quag. But he is a fucking moron, so no I dont want him in Juve.

Don't forget we're speaking about a third choice striker now. You can name some player maybe (maybe, who would come here, but you know those are just dreams) who's better than him, but I don't think many would look forward to come here when we have Tevez and Llorente as starters who play very good and who won't be considered as bench players any time soon.

Its a very good opportunity if we were only getting him for 6 months, but we arent Douchen...This so-so decent player with absolutely awful attitude will be around for years to come...And that, is defenitely something to question.

All things considered, I think Quag has a better awareness of goal, and like you said they're likely to out up the same numbers. If anything Osvaldo is a bit of a prima Donna in his head and may not be as effective coming on as a sub, vis a vis being a starter. I don't see this as a big step up. More like a step sideways to be honest.
