So far Zlatan has made the fourth best debut goalwise in Serie A: History!! List:

1. Sheva (1999/2000) Milan 36 matches/24 goals. G/A 0,75.
2. Michel Platini (1982/1983), Juventus 30/16. G/A: 0,53.
3. Dario Hubner (1997/1998), Brescia 30/15. G/A: 0,50.
4. Zlatan Ibrahimovic (2004/2005), Juventus, 31/15 mål. G/A: 0,483
5. David Trezeguet (2000/2001), Juventus 29/14. G/A: 0,482.

But that's just goalwise. :) He's also created a lot of goals.

where did u get hose stats?? surely there are better stats for other players??

Z isnt the most overated.....blaytantly its trez....he was awsome in the first two years, since then the Wall has not really done anything at all....i mean at all, nada squat j didly sqwat to merit a starting place, even micco and dyo did more imo.....

If z obtaint half the finishing ability of trez, trez will be easily forgotten.

Actually, Platini = Shevchenko. With his 16 goals he was top scorer of Serie A, scoring was just lower back in those days. He was also top goalscorer 3 seasons straight.

Ok let's stop comparing Zlatan to Platini or Van Basten.. let's face it, he's nowhere near their level yet and probably never will be. They are among the 10 greatest legends of this sport and one great season from Zlatan doesn't make him or almost make him one of them.

Those statistics do look interesting though... and my god his goals against Lecce were magnificent!:star:

Platini is the best that Juve ever had, at least in my books

I love how this works.. :D Last weekend it was all why are you picking on Zlatan, he just scored a hattrick, Juve top scorer blahblah. Yet once again he fails to deliver when it really matters. Overrated? I believe there is a case.

I actually dont think he failed to deliver. He failed to score, yes, but IMO he had a great match, just like in the first match against Inter. He was unlucky to come across Toldo in good form and to hit the post. But IMO he was our by far best player. I wouldnt call that failing to deliver.

Del Piero, however... taht missed volley just summed up his night.
