Inverness Caledonian Thistle don’t employ a cameraman as their camera is programmed to follow the ball throughout the match. The commentator had to apologise today as the camera kept on mistaking the ball for the linesman’s head...

Dutch really does sound funny  like btec German
Yep, German sounds strong and it's a good military language which history has shown :snoop:

Dutch sounds like someone who's about to choke on something, very ugly and rubbish language for most neutral ears (sorry)

Dutch names are very cool though

If anything, I've heard quite often it sounds strong. The sounds are actually quite ‘hard’ and that some of our words sound like growling. That’s because our ‘G’ is a sound you make in the back of your throat more than with your tongue. It’s a ‘Grrrr’ sound. Kinda like when Homer Simpson is growling

Even though it's a Germanic language and shares most similarities to German language, it's also heavily influenced by English and French, so it'll never sound the same

I didnt know where to post this, but it is such a sweet and touching story. Namely, this couply have been married for 70 years and they were both Fenerbahce fans and followed their games together all this time. The guy died 7 years ago so his wife continued to watch Fenerbahce games by herself. Sadly, the wife died 10 days ago too so Fenerbahce decided to honor them by placing pictures of them on their seats for every home game and those two seats will forever have their pictures there.

Really heartwarming, oddly enough I came to the thread to post this exact story. Diogo Jota's social media was posting this.

So Sellick went to Dubai for "warm weather training", obviously got criticism for doing this during a global pandemic, including by the Scottish first minister, wee Jimmy Krankie.

They returned with a player testing positive for Covid, and have to quarantine 13 first team players and the coach for their next game lol.

UEFA has banned Ajax GK André Onana for 12 months for doping violation. They found the substance Furosemide in his urine on October 30 last year. The suspension is effective from today and applies to both national & international games.
