North America is out of the run, favourites for the gold is Russia. Russia is playing Finland in the semi's who's been looking really good. Sweden is playing Czech rep, both teams has been pretty doubtful in the group stage but did well when it really mattered.

Semifinals
Sweden - Czech republic (friday 17:30 ? +1 CET) I predict 3-3, the Czhechs win throw penalties
(Forsberg, Sundin, Alfredsson vs Jagr, Prospal, Kaberle)
Russia - Finland (friday 19:00 ? +1 CET) I predict a 4-1 win to Russia
(Ovechkin, Kovalchuk, Datsyuk vs Selänne, Koivu, Jokkinen)

Would be awesome with a Scandinavian final though. I don't want to face the fins fighting for bronze.

Ya Sweden sucked vs Russia though we can't be judged after the Slovakia loss. Plus we have made some big changes since the 5-0 loss and I think these lines can work awesome. Using Forsberg and Sundin in the same line is genious, they work excellent together.

Powerplay and boxplay will be the key to success here, there will be tons of penalties. Finlands powerplay HAS produced, like crazy. But our boxplay aint bad either, espacially when motivated.

I also think our Powerplay could be better than Finlands. I mean Forsberg, Sundin, Modin, Lidström, Alfredsson is just siiick. If we can get it to work we will win the whole shizle.

I can't say I'm a very big hockey fan, but Russia and the Czech Republic just looked horrible. I don't really know the game, but I was told these were two great teams.
