Still second guessing myself on the big name that will arrive in the summer. Surely, its not going to be all about Samuel.

I like your second formation baggio, and as good as Samuel is, I'd rather not have to rely on the relatively inexperienced Mozart or Meghni to hold our central midfield. Emerson is half the reason for our rock solid defence this season, and I'd rather have him there than a good CB like Samuel.

I'd tend to agree there, Gray. Only, I'm trying to predict the possibilities that currently exist in Moggi's head, more than what I'd actually want. I think Mozart and Meghni are distinct possibilities, especially the latter, given Bologna's current situation. You're dead right about Emerson's quality, but then I dont see how else we could possibly land Samuel - who, to me seems to be on Capello's mind, come next season.

I'm not convinced by Mutu's abilities on the wing, so I think that formation would be pretty weak down the left, especially since Zambrotta would be restricted to performing his defensive duties.

Actually, both wings would be pretty weak, since there'd be no fullback to cover Camoranesi when he goes on his runs.
