And speaking also of classic lines, I find these 3 very effective in starting conversation:
1. Asking the time, and then depending if she has a watch, complement the watch, or say your sister has the same or something like that.
2. Asking how to get to places that the people are most likely to be heading to. If the girl just likes the look of you, she will offer you to come with her.
3. After a bit of eye play, ask if you have seen her before, and name some cool clubs/bars in your town that young people are likely to go to.
Well, actually, you have the best chance if you dont use any lines. Let's face it: beautiful girls get hit on a lot, they've probably heard all the lines already and you have to stand out a bit, not be "just another guy". I guess you could say somehtng like "I'm sure you've heard every pickup line there is by now, so I'm just going to say hi". or something like that. Be relaxed, dont be intimidated by women, joke around a bit, and try to be different to other guys. And dont look too desperate.
Yeah, I know. And altho lines can work, just coming up and saying hi can work too. If you want to be a bit unusual you can try to turn the tables. Instead of buying a girl a drink, you can say (in a joking manner): "I see you want to buy me a drink, so I'll make it easy for you: I'll have a ______" and smile. Then introduce yourself.
It'll either work or she'll slap you. But I doubnt she would
