Striker genius Zlatan Ibrahimovic talks to Eurosport about the year ahead for Juventus and their chances of a treble this season. Juventus are Serie A leaders, in the quarter-finals of Cup and last 16 in the Champions League. Ibrahimovic is confident concerning the year 2006 for the Bianconeri
"We have the team to win all three trophies: Champion's League, Italian Cup and Championship. To do this we have to take one game after the other, to be very focused and train hard for it, work as a team.
"We must keep our foot on the ground and we'll be better than the other one. We shouldn't underestimate anybody," said the giant striker.
Juventus recently drew in the league while their main rivals Inter and Milan - second and third in the league - both won their games.
"Inter and Milan will be tough opponents. We can't afford to do a lot of mistakes, I mean we can't lose games. We have to win all the time. And although they have to win all the time.
"Of course Inter is a good team and it's a concurrent for the Championship and Milan. As long as we are one step before them I'm happy."
Despite scoring fewer goals this season, Ibrahimovic thinks that his game has improved since last year.
"I think I play much better this season than last year. It's just that I score less but I show to everybody that I can score in Italy. I try to do other things now. My mind is not a lot for goals. I try to develop other things, I try to help my partners."
Ibrahimovic is not the only dangerous striker Juventus have in the arsenal. Alessandro Del Piero and David Trezeguet can put the ball into the back of the net as good as the next hitman and Zlatan is happy to have such team-mates to play alongside.
"
Me and Trezeguet, we are the best couple. Alessandro also plays fantastic. I'm happy he has the record of top-scorer ever for the club.
"He scored more than 183. I think he will reach even 200 if he continues like this. Trezeguet's qualities are different. He is only looking for goals. And for me he is one of the best in the world for goals." He concluded.
Wellwell Zlatan
