That's not the right attitude. First of all he's a forward not an attacker, so he's bound to create and assist more than score. Secondly I rather have a player who creates a lot but then maybe scores one 1 out of 5 chances rather than a player who does not create anything or creates too little.
If a player/team create chances the goal will eventually arrive.
I think u missunderstand my point,
i m not saying i wish Zlatan to become as good finisher and specialized as Trezequet, but he should come closer to DP's ratio(also a supporting attacker)
and i also prefere players like Zlatan who create and know how to dribble than players like Inzaghi,
BUT i mean for Zlatan to become a complete attacker(world class player) his overall skills must be a little higher and the fields he may improove are:
finishing, the decisive pass, patience in his game, balance(his has to know when to stop dribbling and try a pass) and the air game.
I trust Zlatan growing more mature will improove in these fields and become more complete and one step closer to Sheva,Adriano,Raul,Ronaldo and Henry,
these players also have their specialization on the field but they are world class, their overall skills are magnificant and are good enough in every field,
they can both create and finish,
they dont have to excel in every field.
A team must have two attackers able to score so us not to become too predictable.
Another reason i wish Zlatan to improove his finishing skills now is because it has a great psyhological affect on him,
u can see Zlatan become even more active and brilliant in his play after scoring
and how frustrate he becomes when he does everything but score...
PS: i have seen many many Juve games, that we had the superiority,
created many changes but the goal didnt come,
i m afraid that smth similar would happen in the future more often,
if we have the Zlatan-cassano duo
if those two doesnt improove their finishing skills
and Trezequet isnt around any more,
but i m sure they will improove eventually,
its inevitable...
