Juventus coach Fabio Capello says Zlatan Ibrahimovic can reach the heights of his former AC Milan striker, Marco van Basten.

"I'm always showing footage of Marco to Zlatan in an effort to get him to shoot more on goal," revealed the tactician.

"Watching great players in action always helps others to learn and improve their very own technique.

"Van Basten scored loads of goals, many because he simply shot whenever he saw the goal - no matter where he was on the pitch.

"Our forward has certain movements which do remind me of Van Basten."

Capello, who worked with the Euro '88 winner during his time as Milan boss, specifically asked for Ibrahimovic's capture last summer.

The powerful former Ajax attacker instantly settled into his new surroundings and was a major player in the club's Scudetto triumph.

"You already saw the results last season but now Ibrahimovic scores more goals," added the tactician.

"He also nets from distance too. I am absolutely convinced that he will turn into a great goalscorer."

I think he meant:

"forza zlatan.." vs "forza zlatan!"

Ending a sentence with several dots = gulp according to mr Shades. :p
I think here we have care about any dot I write. just not to be missunderstand..

Don't you agree it has more impact - sound like you mean it more - with an exclamation mark at the end rather than a few dots, though? One dot is fine, several sound like you're bored/snoring. :p

Maybe it's just me. ;)

well, you are right. I write the dots automaticly, without thinking about that. I will try to avoid that.:D

Ibra to sit out Empoli tie
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus boss Fabio Capello is being tipped to rest Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Sunday’s trip to Empoli.

Although the Swede is in great form, following his two goals on international duty in the past week, there are concerns over his health.

The former Ajax player complained of severe stomach pains, which subsequently hampered his breathing, after Sweden’s win over Hungary in midweek.

Ibrahimovic insisted that he was fine following his superb injury time strike, but Capello may opt to rest him anyway.

The tactician is expected to start the striking sensation on the bench despite his importance to the side.

Given that Alessandro Del Piero is currently injured, Capello will probably select David Trezeguet and Adrian Mutu in attack.

The Romanian is in good form himself after he returned to training this week following his two goals for his national side.

Ibrahimovic should be recalled to the starting line-up for Wednesday’s Champions League tie at Club Brugge.
