no at the time milan had van basten we has other great players like baggio ravanelli vialli etc so i dont there was ever a place for him
Ravanelli didn't have anything special Apart from his odd goal in the 96 final and the distinct way he celebrate his goals, anyone who followed Juve frequentely during that era can notice it easily...

Ibra crowned ‘New Van Basten’ Wednesday 7 September, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus boss Fabio Capello believes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is well on the way to becoming as good as Marco Van Basten.

The Swedish striker has been compared to the great Milan and Dutch player on many occasions, a likening which Capello obviously agrees with.

"I’m always showing footage of Marco to Zlatan in an effort to get him to shoot more on goal," revealed the tactician.

"Watching great players in action always helps others to learn and improve their very own technique.

"Van Basten scored loads of goals, many because he simply shot whenever he saw the goal – no matter where he was on the pitch.

"Our forward has certain movements which do remind me of Van Basten."

Capello, who worked with the Euro ‘88 winner during his time as Milan boss, specifically asked for Ibrahimovic’s capture last summer.

The powerful former Ajax attacker instantly settled into his new surroundings and was a major player in the club’s Scudetto triumph.

"You already saw the results last season but now Ibrahimovic scores more goals," added the tactician.

"He also nets from distance too. I am absolutely convinced that he will turn into a great goalscorer."

I think he was a great player but I preferred Vialli all the time.

That goal was just simply amazing, The score was 0-0 in the 90th minute of the game and Zlatan dribles a defender and puts it in the cross from zero angle.

Im so fkkkn happy right now..
