Abed, according to wikipedia he can be ours for 4 million pounds !
Viola sporting director Pantaleo Corvino has stated that Juve can complete the signing of the striker for a fee of £4 million; "There is a written clause with Juventus which allows them to keep him by paying £4m"

Perhaps there is more to this deal than it seems. I have a feeling we will get more out of it, Bojinov or someone else. God knows, Mutu is worth more than a player for only one year in exchange..

Well, I think that the new management were so scared of keeping Mutu, and wanted to avoid any chance that they'll be asked by Chelsea for compensation...

So, the deal was to get rid of Mutu, and whatever comes as a result would be welcome by them, regardless how little it was...

I think that's nonsense, Chelsea had no legal rights to demand anything, they sacked him we picked him up, it was just bitternes, nothing was ever gonna come out of it.

Selling Mutu was definitely a silly decision. I understand some sales, but this one came as a unpleasant surprise.

i hope vlatko is right about Secco getting more out of the mutu deal than those measly 8m and the loan of a player.I hope its an option on Pazzini or Toni, even though i don't want the latter. It would at least show Secco did something right.

We should keep Boji for at least one more season. He already knows the team dynamics and he had some good performances.

Chelsea certainly have no right under English law for compensation (assuming it is the same as Scots law).

Currently with Juventus, but unsure of whether he’ll continue in the ranks of the Old Lady, Valeri Bojinov, is pleased to be linked with a possible move to FC Barcelona.
"For me it would be a dream come true to play for Barcelona, where Hristo Stoichkov is an idol", explained Bojinov to Bulgaria’s ‘24 chasa’ when asked about his view of a mooted move to Camp Nou.
Sources point towards the retired-wingman-turned-tactician Stoichkov having given a firm two thumbs up to Barça interest with a personal recommendation to ex-team mate Txiki Beguiristain, now the Blaugrana sporting director.
The 21 year old has been in Serie A since 2001, landing at Lecce and making a 2005 move to Fiorentina, then on to Juventus in summer 2006.
There’s been no mention of a price, although the idea is that the Bulgarian may arrive for a nominal amount if a player that doesn’t fit into the Catalan club’s plans for next season goes the other way, with Italo-Brazilian Thiago Motta being mentioned on the grapevine.

great another spurce rumor to appease the media and to raise our spears at one of our beloved players.

but i dont blame boji if he wants to leave, the guy isn't getting the opportunity to play. DD is holding him back for god knows what reason so this guy has the right to feel how he does. just keep your mouth shut about how it is a dream and all that shit...
