Now, either sell Maresca's and Miccolis share and hunt for a playmaker. Or, Bring back Maresca's share by selling Miccoli's. And gottam, we'll be unstoppable!!1

Well, maybe Mourinho assured Mutu that he would probably not be getting much playing time. Instead of sitting around at Chelsea, Mutu called up Moggi for help.

It might be outlandish, but knowing Moggi.... :D
Nice theory. ;)

We signed him for free and he was a very good player at Chelsea when he first arrived. So all in all it was a typical bargain signing from our transfer guru Luciano Moggi. :D

I'd love it if we could find a way to have a 3-pronged Mutu, Zlatan, Trez attack  but for some reason I don't really see it happening, unless Mutu learns how to be a playmaker.
I really do not think Mutu would be a successful playmaker, as his talents are mostly based on mobility and dribbling, not so much creativity and passing. Don't get me wrong he is a creative forward who can create chances by himself, however, he is not a player with playmaker-esq vision. I think we will need to look elsewhere for a playmaker. But a triumverate attack with Mutu, Zlatan, and Trez looks very good to me, if Capello would use it. So probably not gonna happen.

It's funny though; I distinctly remember in other threads about Mutu coming to Juve, a handful of people were saying that we don't need the drug addict :blah:... where did all those people go?
Its a virus going around Juventini, namely Aleitis. ;)

Others like Ian just do not want to be outdone in the "feel good" department.

btw I just realised... after the Livorno game, when DP, Nedved and Olivera all had a go at free kicks from promising positions... how badly we need a decent free kick taker.
Thats very true, and I hope Mutu will be able to help us out in that department.

Exaclty, we could give Fiorentina Miccoli's other part in exchange for Maresca's other 50%.

Great buy but I Predict after all in before 2005/2006 seson it will change
Mutu->Roma Cassano->Juvnetus

If Cassano leaves Roma at the end of the season, then you can forget that he'll come here in the future.

How about some cash plus Maresca's 50% share for Miccoli? :D
That would be acceptable, altho I'd rather use Miccoli as a pawn in some other transfer deals, he can be very a valuable pawn indeed.

Zlatan:
Bad deal, Miccoli is worth way more than Maresca.
Really? Good! I don't rate him higher than Maresca.

Fiorentina won't let Maresca go that easy. And Miccoli hates us. :undecide: I'm so sick of him. Wanna make him 100% Viola.

Would be great. :lick:

Voice in Turin say that there are 2 important clauses in Mutu's contract:

1) Mutu must pass periodically, without warning psycho/physical tests.

2) If Mutu gets tested for drugs or other banned substances he has to pay Juventus a fee for damage of image or whatever they call it.

I'm likin' !! :thumb:

If this info goes public (which it surely will), then it's purely the work of Juve PRs. :thumb:

Ok, on may we will have 5 forwards Zlatan, Trez, DP, Zala and Mutu so obviously one will be sold in the summer. I think that keeping Zlatan, Trez, Dp and Mutu will be an error because there will be a lot any of them will like to be on the bench. So I think that Moggi is going to sell Trez or Mutu in the summer market. I think that we must have 3 "important" forwards and keep Zalayeta, because Zalayeta is a player that dont complain about sitting on the bench and that sometimes can save our a*s.

This will sound crazy, but it isn't. If the rumour of Cassano somewhat holds water after this season you can bet the both Trez and Zalayeta will both be gone. DP will stay (hence Ferrara) and we could very well have Mutu, Zlatan and Cassano. Should this happen just watch our midfile get much stronger to back up these three.

And something a little off topic, imagine we get Janks and Zambro move back to right midfield, not bad?!

I disagree.
1. Roma will never sell Cassano to Juve. IMO he's Spain bound.
2. Every team needs a good finisher/pure striker. Zalayeta isn't a main solution. We only have Trezequet for that job so I don't see Trez leaving. Having 3 players with similar characteristics is useless. DP, Zlatan, Cassano and Mutu are all closer to each other in terms of their positioning and style then they are to the Trezeguet's and RVN's of football. It would be mad to have 4 similar players.
