It will be an interesting fall indeed. Lets hope your Cassano-Mutu-swap theory comes true Andy. I got a nice feeling about it, somehow I see some logic in it. :lick:;)

I dont think Mutu-Cassano swap will happen, this is not football manager :D , its real life so it would be bad for juve's reputation to do this

Voice in Turin say that there are 2 important clauses in Mutu's contract:

1) Mutu must pass periodically, without warning psycho/physical tests.

2) If Mutu gets tested for drugs or other banned substances he has to pay Juventus a fee for damage of image or whatever they call it.
Where do you get all this info dude?

I dont get why people are all of a sudden complaining that we have to many strikers when at the start of the season they were complaining that 4 simply werent enough and that we didnt have enough depth in attack with Zalayeta.

Anyways, providing that Zalayeta stays a 5th striker, IMO nobody needs to leave. Mutu will get enough playing time playing as both a forward and a playmaker, while the playing time the res of them will get will be pretty much the same as this season, Zlatan and Trez in the first team and Alex on the bench, IMO.

But we will see a trident attack of Mutu - Zlatan - Trezeguet, mark my words.

Anyways, if anyone were to leave, IMO it will be Zalayeta.

I'm worried competition for places might be a little too strong. It's a brilliant move of course,Mutu is a superb player and since he's free nothing can go wrong, but I forsee some resentment in the team in future.Zlatan's place is practically guaranteed, and I'm sure Capello had a hand in Mutu's move too,so Del Piero will probably be a victim of this deal.

I'm thrilled at the prospect of seeing him in bianconeri colours though.A year and a half ago when he moved to Chelsea I thought my hopes of seeing him in Juve were well and truly over but now we can all dream again:touched:

i hope he is given the fantasista role in the future, then we could possibly see miccoli back.....but i kno everyone bar sid, wants cassano...which is where the real probelems will lie.

I do agree, mutu is a long term wish come true, all we need is enzo back

If we're giving someone the fantasista role it should be Del Piero.Alessandro drops deeper than Mutu and is better suited to the role.
oddly i would agree, but in the past dp was offered the role, but reluctantly accepted, failing to perform...but maybe now he will see the iminant need to diversify.for his own sake.

He was only reluctant before because he practically had an assured first team spot and Trap once made him play there in an international friendly, whereafter he said that he would only play there again if absolutely neccessary. At this point in time he really doesn't have much choice.
