I didn't think it was the right choice for many reasons but when he's going to be confirmed as a Juve player I'll support him and hope he does well.
I agree.

Anyway, according to Reuters, Momo will sign on Monday and head back to Ghana to face Ivory Coast on Tuesday.

Secco: Tiago Will Stay, Sissoko Move Close

Juventus sporting director Alessio Secco has announced that Tiago Mendes will be staying at the club, while there are still a few minor details to be cleared up before Momo Sissoko joins.

Portuguese international Tiago only signed for the Bianconeri last summer, however he has been a huge disappointment.

Juve have worked feverishly to try and sell the midfielder this month, and had set-up a transfer to Premiership-outfit Tottenham Hotspur.

However Tiago decided to reject the move at the last minute, purportedly because he was holding out for a transfer to Atletico Madrid.

Secco has now stated that with the transfer window set to close in a few days, there is not enough time to negotiate his sale, and as a result he will stay in Turin until at least the end of the season.

"We have received some requests and Tottenham have been after him in recent days, however then there was hesitancy, which means that there is now not enough time to do the operation," Secco explained.

“Tiago is off the market and he will have time here to demonstrate his best form.”

Sissoko

Secco also cleared up a few things regarding the imminent transfer of Momo Sissoko from Liverpool.

The Malian international arrived in Turin yesterday, and it was believed he would put his final signature on a contract in a meeting with the club this morning.

"Regarding Sissoko there are only some minor details that need to be sorted before the move becomes official,” said the much-maligned sporting director.

Juve are believed to have agreed €13m transfer fee with Liverpool, and a five-year contract that will net the 23-year-old €2.5m a year.

Tiagos wife does not want Tottenham... La signora Barbara does not want to return to London have already lived there, when here husband played with Chelsea.

Sissoko confirms Juve move

Former Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has confirmed he will be joining Juventus following Mali’s challenge for the African Cup of Nations.

Rafa Benitez’s protege will leave his mentor and move to Italy, as he will complete a move to Serie A giants Juve before the transfer window closes.

The African player leaves The Premier League after two-and-a-half seasons and will start a fresh adventure in a new league, far away from Benitez, who managed him at Valencia and Anfield.

Mali international Sissoko is currently in Ghana, but made the trip to Turin at the weekend to pass a medical and discuss personal terms.

“I am liberated,” he told football365.fr.

“I know my future now and I know to which club I will belong when I return from the ACN.

“Defending Juve’s colours is an honour and fills me with pride.”
