Sissoko better not take the place of players who are much better than him for the sake of playing him. The guy can't start any team he is a part of which is just sad.

Sissoko isnt so good, but this a poor point to make. He is being benched by one of the best DMs in the game, Mamodou diarra. And his CM partner is one of the top few best midfielders in La Liga (and Europe in overall this season), Keita of Sevilla. Extremely strong and quality CM pair. For sure better then our CM pair, especially Keita who is top class. Competing with Keita and Diarra is very different from competing with Nocerino and Marchiso. The same in Pool when he has absolute top class mids like Xabi, Mascherano and Gerrard playing over him. This needs to be mentionned, because him being benched is being said like he is being by average players.

Signing Momo for 15m is a bad call, and a waste due to not needing a DM, but I'll just say now that it looks its done, that even if you have good cause to be against the signing, many of you are exaggerating 200%. He wont be anything close as bad as he is claimed to be, and will be useful, though not warranting 15m still.

He might be useful, but what I can't understand is why it's a must we sign Sissoko right now when we already have Nocerino and Zanetti to do his job. Sissoko might be a better destroyer than Nocerino, but the latter isn't that poor doing his job. It just doesn't make sense to sign this player and field him in a midfield with Nocerino as we will have nobody who can pass the ball... still.

In fact, discussing this topic just makes me even more angry. This shit is so fucking stupid. We need a centerback, a left-back and somebody who can pass the fucking ball in midifield, yet we're wasting our time trying to sign a destroyer. God-fucking-damnit. Get these people out of here.

You should know I agree with every single syllable of your post (except it doesnt get me angry, just not suprised). He as far as a priority as you can get, and considering he atleast a DM talent (can destroy brilliantly, just cant do anything else...) it would be ok if he was a cheap bargain, but he costs 15m.

Tottally unnecessary as a signing can get. But its being looked at as a big signing that will change anything. You need to watch few minutes of our games to realise we need someone who can create, and not someone who is worse passer in our already bad ones in the team.

But as said, what I outlined in that post is, even if unnecessary signing, he isnt that bad of a player, in his function and role alone, he would prolly do pretty well and be a healthy competition for Noce and Zanetti.

You'd be right... if Mali was a team like Brazil, Argentina or Italy... where there are scores of good players for every position. They aren't. Even with Liverpool, if he was as good as Ranieri thinks.. they would never have signed Mascherano and Leiva... he's a second-class DM. Rafa is a lot smarter than Secco, that goes without saying. He wouldn't buy more of the same young player if what he had was adequate. We have lots of those. We're missing a full-service midfielder that can pass, shoot, defend and tackle.

What I'm saying is, if he was as good as Ranieri and Secco think he is, he would have a place in Mali's starting 11... whether as a CDM, or a forward defender or something. Its not like they're teeming with depth. He's simply not worth the money and this is no longer a Juventus that can afford to make the odd blunder because there are so many world class talents around anyway. They made 2 expensive mistakes already... how many more do they get to make?

What irks me is this is the type of player Bolton Wanderers, Sampdoria or Udinese goes after... not a rich and ambitious team like Juventus.
