You can't say that the player we brought made a difference. Only Iaquinta made an impact at our squad, other players we bought didn't played enough/at all or turned to be flop.
Ofcourse I'm not blaming Secco for all of that because when I think realisticly Almirion had a good camaign at Empoli and he could become great for us (unfortunately he didn't), Tiago is a good midfielder (not WC) and he supposed to bring a little bit creativity (I blame Ranieri for his case) and Andrade was one of the good and realistic targets for defense and noone could say will he get injured again and when. So we can't really blame only Secco for what happened to our signigns.
But now hwn you look at our team when we are again interesting to some better players like you said, why are we buying Sissoko? That's an obvius fact which shows Secco's stupidity. We are bringing another defensive midfielder with no creativity who can't offer us anything that we already don't have to replace Tiago/Almirion who are supposed to be our creative force. Isn't that stupid? Everyone I mean everyone is against this transfer, I thin that even Liverpool board still don't believe taht we want to buy him.
And his price... it's even more ridicoulus to talk about how ridicoulus high is his price.

Firstly our bargaining chips are the very ones we are relying on now, in the past, in the future and whenever.. these bargaining chips are the 29 Scudetto's, 2 European Cups are numerous other trophies which secco had nothing to do with. In regards to Milito, he clearly stated he would be delighted to play for Juventus and all that stopped his transfer to Juve is the 2.3million in which Zaragoza wanted, if he would have sold Miccoli for more than a bag of peanuts he could of quite easily attained the much needed 2.3 million.. and about Sissoko, he openly said Liverpool is a bigger club than us and then only once he found himself on the bench of Liverpool did he state his desire to come to Juve, this is a desperate man who would of said anything to any club stupid enough to take interest in him which happen to be us..
Sissoko is so much better then Nocerino so it's ok for me, ok we could got someone better.
Sissoko was great his first year in Liverpool and then he had som injuryes. He maby lack som passing abillity but the tempo is faster in PL.
He is better then Nocerino and has some potensial so im ready to give him a chance.

Have some faith in the guy, Nocerino has potential too. Besides, he has only been here for 6 months, is a regular, is keeping bot Tiago and Almiron (proven players) on the bench and he can only improve. Sissoko has to adjust to the league, get used to Juve and then you still have the risk he'll and up as Almiron.
I say no, keep Nocerino and the only player that should be bought for midfield is VdV.

Sissoko may lack passes but he plays in a leauge with more tempo. In Serie A he would be better with his passing. When I saw Sissoko in Valencia he had good dribbling and passing abillity.
Nocerino most be the worst passer in Serie A. He gives away so much balls, and he can't controll the ball in situations where he has players around him, he shots it away directly.

If I was a footballer and you came up with that I would have laughed at you. You are talking like a fan not a businessman.
You come representing a club that was relegated to serieB in utter disgrace. The whole world thinks you are cheats and that the only reason you won in the past is because your general manager was manipulating matches and you had your last 2 championships stripped of you and the best you can come up with is 29 scudettos, 2 European cups etc?
Get real, noone is gonna listen to that if you are not willing to pay over the odds and pay me a far better salary than my sorry ass is worth, why should I play for ya?
Before ppl start taking is the wrong way, its the harsh reality of how we were perceived at the beginning of the season, we were badly tainted, Italian football is badly tainted in the eyes of the world so talking about past would not help attract high calibre player when you are not playing in Europe.
I dont believe that money was the stumbling block in Milito's case as the transfer dragged on for ages, he did not wanna come is my belief. did he ever discuss terms etc?
Its easier to bargain with Empoli and Udinese for their players and Lyon were going thru a phase with Houllier leaving, Abidal buggered off to Bacelona, Cacapa to newcastle and Malouda to Chelsea so it was easy to get Tiago
@ Goggo You cannot discount the board for persuading Buffon, Nedved, camoranesi, Dp and Trez to stay as no matter what means they used they still did the job.
As far as Sissoko goes, its Ranieri that wants him not Secco so why is he getting stick.

This is true. I have seen Sisoko first season at Liverpool and he was GREAT!! Forget about Noce,Tiago, Diego...he was really good...
Rafa knew him well and that is why he brought him to UK. But he got badly injured, and he played few games after..And he was bit lost sadly..I still believe he can pull as spanish league is similar to italian ,very tactical , bit slower, and EPL is very physical and aggressive. Also Momo is 24?
