Nocerino vs Sissoko easy Sissoko.

Sissoko may lack passes but he plays in a leauge with more tempo. In Serie A he would be better with his passing. When I saw Sissoko in Valencia he had good dribbling and passing abillity.

Nocerino most be the worst passer in Serie A. He gives away so much balls, and he can't controll the ball in situations where he has players around him, he shots it away directly.

Some may say that Sissoko has been poor this season but the season before? I talk to some Liverpool fans they say he was very good that year.
Sissoko may be the better player, but who says he'll be a better solution for Juve?
And one that costs a bundle.
Besides, I see posters here claim that Nocerino was quite a good passer in his Piacenza days, his problem is just that he wants to be like Gattuso too much.

How is Sissoko's eye by the way? How has it recovered?

Sacchi Slams Juventus Sissoko Signing

Former Milan great Arrigo Sacchi has slammed Juventus’ imminent signing of Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko, saying that the player has no quality.

The Bianconeri are well known to be in the market for a centre midfielder and they are just days, if not hours away from signing the Malian international.

A fee of between €13-15m is believed to have been agreed between Liverpool and Juventus, but Sacchi does not rate the ability of the ex-Valencia player.

“I know Sissoko well and I watched him a lot in Spain,” said the ex-Milan legend Sacchi, who spent time in La Liga as Coach of Atletico Madrid and as director of football of Real Madrid.

“Sissoko is a plughole, he stops the play, but he cannot play football and has no quality.”

Juventus boss Claudio Ranieri is a huge admirer of Sissoko, from his days as boss of Valencia.

The 22-year-old should become the Tinkerman’s first signing of this month’s transfer window, although the move has not gone down well with a lot of Juventus supporters

Fair enough.
I've stated my opinion now. I just feel it will be both a waste of money as well as a waste of recources (Nocerino, Marchisio, Zanetti, Tiago or even Almiron for that matter as he also was playing well last season).

It seems he is coming and it is just matter of time!

Another mistake by Secco. Is he realy consult with Moggi?
It seems that he is not a good learner. Secco is not a right man for job.
Bring back Moggi. So many players available in the market and he choosed Sissoko.

@ Goggo You cannot discount the board for persuading Buffon, Nedved, camoranesi, Dp and Trez to stay as no matter what means they used they still did the job.

As far as Sissoko goes, its Ranieri that wants him not Secco so why is he getting stick.

Between Zanaetti, Nocerino and Sissoko it would be interesting to see how they pass the ball between them.

I dont understand this transfer either but hey they are 3rd in the league, 1 point behind Roma and they can use that to beat me over the head with all day and they would be right
I know they did a good job when they managed to keep Gigi, Alex and co. but still they managed to show how bad we are at negotiations.

I also agree that Sissoko is more Ranieri's wish than Secco's but still that doesn't mean we should buy him. Now please don't get me wrong when I said this cuz I'm glad that our board is listening Ranieri and are trying to secure him everything he wants but there should be someone to tell Ranieri that we already have enough DM's and that he is not at Chelsea where you can buy expensive and sell pretty cheap. I'm sure that if we buy Sissoko for €15M that at the summer we will sell him for around €10M (I wish I'm wrong).

And for the third place, I know it's great achievement that noone expected and that's why is hard to tell anyithing against board or Ranieri. But with this kind of transfer policy where we loaned Criscito and selling Boumsong and still buying DM's instead of defenders everything could change. One or two draws in a row or God forbid something worse and we are out of top four and than real problems are starting. And that's what scares me the most.

While this may be true, it's very harsh in this case. Having doubts over the rationality of this transfer is very reasonable. The many arguements against Sissoko's transfer have been summed up several times now.

Then again, most of us were wrong about Iaquinta.

Sure, let's bring back the guy who was responsible for our relegation to serieB, let us bring back the guy who costed us 2 titles, let us bring back the maffia man, why not?

I prefer to be third but be a clean team, then to finish first but be ruled by someone like Moggi :inter: again.

Maybe he has the potential, but so does Nocerino and so does Marchisio. Sissoko's transfer would block their progress for no important reason. Nocerino.Zanetti,Marchisio,Tiago is good for 2 CM positions. I can't believe Ranieri and Secco don't want to bring in an extra defender, especially now that Criscito is gone. We could bring in Zapata for the money we're gonna spend on Sissoko.
