From what I have seen I would take Mascerano before Momo. But we should look this from the other side. We were happy about Tiago, but he didn't get a chance (not enough IMO). And most of you were against Iaquinta (I wouldn't take him also), but now he is one the best player. IMO he was the best transfer this summer. So if we sign Momo we should give him a chance. It's true for 15 mio, we could get also some other player, but if he will become next Viera (I don't believe that), then we could sell him for a lot more.

Nah! And Tiago was supost to be great signing, so look at him now.:frown: Not that I don't wish him to improve his form.

And when we are at Sissoko, why Mascherano picked Pool over us?!? It's not that Pool paid more money for him, the deal isn't done yet. It was matter of personal choice, the only diference is that Masvherano kept his mouth shut, while Momo was braging that he is Pool loyal.

And he is trying to fix the bullocks that he said now, at least you can give him little credit for that!
What form mate??? he barely played..you read too much of Carlo Garganese.
I saw Sisoko's first season at Liverpool , and to be honest i did not know anything about him until than. I was very impressed with a pace and of his games, and yes very similar to Nocerino, but with much better passing skills and better crossing.
I think Rafa who is great coach maybe ruined him a bit.

I read one article about Tiago earlier today, and Juve rejected sale of him for £9 mil to Tottenham. If that is true than Ranieri really counts on him, and i would not put anything bad against coach or try to guess what is going on until it really happens.
What?? Sissoko basically has no passing skills..theres no way he's a better passer than Nocerino.

I like that formation. But buying Van der Vaart is the most important thing. I feel Sissoko is a good player and would be a great buy for us seeing Ranieri likes to play with a trident we will need to use our DM's and at the moment we would be lost if Nocerino or Zanetti got hurt.

He also has a great deal of room for improvement and Ranieri will help get the best from him. With the preformances he has put in against the likes of Chelsea and Barca for Liverpool I don't understand why there is soo much hate for Momo.

Now I guess will come the sale of Almiron.. then lets hope we can lock down VDV either now or for purchase in the summer.

Sorry bro, don't agree. Zanetti has been our most solid player thus far this season and has probably been the best midfield all-arounder in Serie A this season as well. Sissoko is the more ferocious tackler, has much more talent, but Zanetti has been better this season, providing the tactical nous and is pretty much indispensable for our side at the moment.

I originally wanted Sissoko for the fact I see he has a bunch of talent breaking down attacks, just like Davids did for us, but the fact is we would still need another player such as Zanetti as he is tactically indispensable. And since Nocerino can do the same job as Sissoko, we don't need another destroyer in the side.

Nocerino ---------- Sissoko ----------- Nedved
------------------- Tiago
----------------- Trez ------------ DP

This is good line up for Catania, considerring that we don't have Camo.

For next year we'll have cretivity in VDV, no worries:tup:

- He's redundant. (Zanetti and Nocerino are capable DMs that offer just as much as Sissoko, and are already groomed to the Italian game)

- He's overpriced.

- He diverts money away from necessary transfers

- He'd be the posterchild of the new management... aiming high and shooting low. Instead of poaching a star in Mascherano, they opt for someone's flop.

and most importantly...

- He's not that good. He's not horrible, but he doesn't take Juventus to the next level, and for 15m Euro+, they better.

He's def better than Zanetti though and I'd rather have him than Nocerino.
but i would rather use the money to go towards mascherano than this liability-waiting-to-happen i honetly feel he is a middle of the road player, good for an udinese or west ham but not quite good enough for the top level, hence the failure at lieverpool and valencia

As much as I admire Sissoko's style on the field and force. Zanetti is one of the best players ATM in his position, not only in Italy but Europe.
