We were forced into buying Tiago because Momo was €30mil + yes? Far too much money, we have Nocerino and Zanetti who can already play in that position, Marhisio for the future. I also think that them 3 are on similar to better ability than him. Bit too overrated. I prefer the Mascherano rumours, he is a better player who will make a place in our first eleven.

Why waste time on Sissoko, when it's better spent on our own talents like Nocerino or if we could invest on a proper improvement instead?
Completely agree..Sissoko doesnt add anything that Nocerino doesnt..He's a decent player..but Juve dont need him.

But if there's anything Almiron's purchase has tought us, isn't it that we shouldn't buy substitutes. That we should actually buy players, that improve the team.
absolutely, this is a recipe for disaster much more than the almiron transfer.

personally i cannot see what all the fuss over sissoko is, he went to valencia.and pretty much failed, then he went to liverpool, and pretty much failed....i see a pattern develop here.
i think momo has all the atributes to be a top,top player....but football is not played with stats or promise, it is played on a field and so-far he has failed to turn that potential and raw ingredients into anything other than an average mid-table player

if we buy him NOW Secco will prove how a d*ck he is. Trading shit for shit and you still have shit in the end.

Give Almiron to whoever the f*ck wants him and if you want Sissoko(WHY?) then get him on loan with a right to buy. If he blows then you ship him back to Pool and take Marchisio back from loan.

Even a 100% healthy Sissoko wouldn't be good for Juve. I can see all those red cards coming his way especially wearing Juve's jersey.

Looks like Raineri is dumb too.

Juve Intensify Interest In Sissoko

Juventus are ready to meet a late challenge from Inter head on in the race for the signature of Liverpool midfielder Momo Sissoko.

The tough tackling Mali international is fourth in line to Steven Gerrard, Xabi Alonso and Javier Mascherano in the centre midfield pecking order at Anfield, and there are increasing indications that Rafa Benitez will allow him to leave for a significant offer.

An amount in excess of £10m should be enough to convince the Reds to relinquish the 22-year-old, who has also attracted interest from Manchester City Everton, Fiorentina and Olympique Lyon.

Juventus have already opened the lines of communication and for the first time on Monday, coach Claudio Ranieri openly admitted an interest in the player, who is being dubbed in some circles as the “new Patrick Vieira”.

"I had the pleasure to coach him at Valencia and I like him a lot," the former Chelsea manager said yesterday. "I know him very well. He is a great player."

Juventus would ideally like to loan Sissoko out for the remainder of the season with an option to buy in the summer, but with so many teams now vying for his signature, the Bianconeri will almost certainly have to put their money where their mouth is, and do so fast.
