i think Barca will sell Motta and Edmilson

and they want a new defensive mid to play alongside Iniesta or Xavi (cuz they are similar)

They are looking at Albelda, De Rossi (their main target) and Sissoko (after he owned them in the CL)

they want something like this

--------------Eto

Dhino----------------Messi

------------Deco-----------

------De Rossi----Xavi---------

We are signing him from a champions league finalist and there was no need for Liverpool to get rid of Sissoko, so we were always going to pay a lot for him.

Liverpool have to many midfielders they also just bought Lucas, so I think the price is way to high. I like the player though.

they have good reason for sell him

Lucas Leiva
Mascherano
Gerrard
Xabi Alonso
Yes, that may be true. But there was no desperate need for them to get rid of Sissoko, they could've easily waited for other suitors or still bench him. Benitez has always been a big fan of the player. To beat other interested clubs (among others, Fiorentina were chasing him badly), we would have to pay relatively much and also quickly.

Mavuba isn't official yet. Mavuba may have been second choise (or maybe Sissoko was), in case the deal didn't go through.

Or maybe we're looking at Zanetti- Sissoko(Marchisio*- Mavuba)

* Might be Almiron.
Sissoko is not official as well. ;)

I can live with both him and Mavuba, both are young and very good midfielders. Agressive, dynamic, just what we lack ever since Davids left us. Though I was silently hoping we would get someone creative in the middle who can organise the game so we don't rely on just the wings anymore. From what I understand Almiron is such a player though I don't know him very well.

hmm...what scares is me is the option of mavuba going forward .. does he have enough of creativity in him to go forward like marchisio or a DM that goes forward to help out..or will we be seeing capello's 2 ultra defencive midfielders ... maybe capello is coming after all :scared:
